Chapter 753

As the workers moved the new equipment into the studio, Lily was on the sidelines taking inventory, somewhat distracted.

Olivia was busy at work and moving around.She loved the new studio, not just because it was ideal, but because it belonged wholly to them, and they could do anything they wanted.

"Put this over here and that over there.Hey, be gentle, okay?"

Olivia was in high spirits as she instructed the workers.She looked over at Lily and found her holding a pen and a notepad without writing anything, seemingly in a daze.

"Lily, what's the matter?" She waved.

"You’ve zoned out for quite some time." Lily caught herself.

"Oh, I’m fine.Is everything here and accounted for?"

"Almost. The equipment is complete, and we have more stuff here than at our last workplace.Most of the tools here are the latest and have truly amazing designs."

Olivia was too satisfied with the studio and could not stop singing her praises.

"Well, I initially thought the stuff we had was complete, but Alex said we better order everything so that we don’t have to scramble for what we don’t have later.I agreed with him and bought whatever I could think of.We can order more if you notice we’re missing anything, okay?"

"You can’t stop talking about him, can you?"

Olivia sighed enviously and leaned into Lily.

"I’m happy to see you like this.You deserve to be happy, Lily."

"Are you not the same?"

Lily glanced at her and asked, "When are you planning to go public with your relationship with him?"

Lily had long noticed Olivia’s relationship with Edward, but this young woman had never admitted it, so she dropped the subject.

Even the mere mention of him made Olivia blush.

"What do you mean ‘go public?’ You're making fun of me again!"

"I’m fighting for someone’s best interest.Isn’t it about time you let people know after so long?"

Lily teased again.

As Olivia was about to respond, someone’s voice sounded from outside, "Let people know about what?"

"Jen?"

Olivia jumped to her feet.

"Why are you here?!"

"What do you mean ‘why am I here?’

"Can’t I be here?"

She was holding a huge bag.

"Since you guys are open for business, I should come and congratulate you, right? Don’t tell me you're allowed to become bosses, but I can’t come and envy you guys?"

Jenny handed the bag to Lily.

"All the best, okay?"

"You really shouldn't have!" Lily smiled as she took the bag.

"It’s nothing special.These are some materials that I collected before this.Some of them were raw materials the company wanted to throw away, so I kept them.As you know, I only know how to tell them apart, but I don’t know much about making perfume.

"Anyway, you might find them useful.I would have forgotten about them if I hadn’t found them while tidying my house two days ago," Jenny said honestly, "Hope you don’t mind."

"why would I? Your gift is perfect!" Gifts like these were the most useful to Lily.

Someone outside asked Olivia to check if they had received everything, so she responded and left for a while, leaving only Lily and Jenny.

Lily filled up a glass of plain water and handed it to Jenny.

"Everything’s not settled here.Have some water first, if you don’t mind."

Jenny would not mind, of course.She took the water and drank it.Then she looked at Lily and asked.

"Have you gone there?"

"what?"

Immediately after asking this, Lily caught on to what Jenny was asking and hesitated to reply.
