Chapter 759

"I'm a friend and not an enemy."

Arianna lifted her gaze and stared at Noah quietly.

Noah snorted.

"Tons of people want to be my friends.Are you even qualified to be one?"

"You'd be the judge of that."

Arianna put down the tongs, removed her phone from her handbag, and tapped the screen a few times.

Noah’s phone on the table vibrated.

Arianna put down her phone and grilled more meat as if without a care in the world.

Noah looked at her and then at his phone.He picked it up to see what she had sent.

"The information is my gift.When we become friends, I’ll have a bigger one in store for you,"

As she spoke, she put the piece of grilled meat onto the plate in front of Noah.

Noah opened the document containing detailed information on Lily.He browsed through it and found the report to be very comprehensive.

"This is it?"

He revealed a look of disdain instead.

"I can easily find tons of information like this.Do you think [ would need your help in obtaining it?"

"Of course, you can get information on her, but even the most capable private investigator could not uncover a person’s most private matters,"

Arianna said calmly, "This report came from someone who was once closest to her.Not everyone can get their hands on such information, right?

"From what I heard, Mr.Richards, you've come to investigate her.With a report like this, won’t you say your task is more than half- done?"

Noah narrowed his eyes and looked at the report.

Having scanned it through, he realized that Arianna was not talking nonsense.

The report was very detailed and even listed Lily’s interests and hobbies.

"Where did you get the report?"

"You don’t have to worry about that, Mr.Richards.All I can say is that the information is real, and my intention to be your friend is also real.Anyway, now that you know how sincere I am, I wonder if you’ll give me a chance?"

Arianna revealed an attractive smile.

Noah hesitated momentarily before asking, "What’s your name?"

"Arianna,"

After a pause, she added, "Tanner."

"Arianna Tanner?"

Noah frowned his brows as he tried to remember.

"The Tanner family of Ruby City?"

"Guilty as charged."

Chuckling, she picked up the drink before her and took a sip.

After learning who she was, Noah looked at the food for a moment and gazed up at her.

"You didn’t spend so much effort getting me that report just so we could become friends, did you? What do you want?"

He thought there was no such thing as a free lunch.

Besides, they did not even know each other.He knew Arianna must have offered the precious information in exchange for something.

It would only show her hypocrisy if she said she did not want anything.

Noah stared at her face and waited for her answer.

Arianna leaned forward with her chin on the back of her hand.

Then she cocked her head and gazed at Noah with beautiful eyes as if she were sizing him up.

"What if I tell you that it’s you that I want?"

Speechless, Noah raised his brows.He never expected her to be so bold.
