Beyond Beta’s Rejection Chapter 17

(Harper’s POV)

After I realised that I was only wearing a long t-shirt and no panties, Colton helped me sneak back up to my room and then helped me out of his t-shirt. He never made it back to his office for the rest of the day. We just about managed to get dressed and make it to dinner, where both the Alpha and the Beta seemed super fascinated with my spontaneous up-ranking.

“So it just came on all by itself?” the Alpha asked, watching me with curiosity. Colton sat in the chair next to me, his arm held tightly around my shoulder.

“Yep,” he said. “She saw that slut from school and growled. I watched as her wolf appeared, and then the silver in her eyes starburst into the gold.” I listened with interest. I had no idea it had been such a display.

“And what were you feeling or thinking?” the Beta asked me.

I shrugged, “Angry, I guess.”

“Yeah, she looked ready to rip that girl’s throat out,” Colton said proudly.

“This is interesting,” the Alpha mused. “It’s not uncommon for a wolf to up-rank on the marking, but you two haven’t even declared your intentions yet.” He watched me for a couple more moments. “Tell me, Harper, I forget, were you born in this pack?”

I nodded in response. “Yes, Alpha sir.”

“Hmm, interesting indeed.” Then his eyes glazed over, and I instinctively turned and looked at the Beta, who also had his eyes glazed. I glanced at Colton, and he just shrugged and smiled at me.

“I bet the s*x is great!” Damien burst out, and I swear I saw his eyes travel my body. I turned and looked at Colton, who was grinning. He saw me looking, and his face dropped, and he threw a look at Damien.

“Not cool, bro, that’s my mate you are talking about,” he smiled and winked at me, and I blushed.

The rest of dinner went to normal conversation, and I noticed Louise being rather quiet. At one point, she got a text message, and the Gamma scolded her for bringing her phone to the dinner table. She glanced at me and then away again. I tried to get her attention, but she avoided eye contact for the rest of the dinner, and as soon as we were excused, she was out of the room and gone.

When I got back to my room, my school bag was on my bed, and I searched through it quickly for my phone. I had a dozen or so messages, and six missed calls from Tommy. There were a couple from Katie too, which mostly said that she missed me at school today.

I phoned Tommy, and he picked up just as Colton walked into my room.

“Harper,” he said, sounding relieved. “Where the hell have you been?”

“Tommy, it’s fine,” I said. “I just had an incident at school and then took today off to rest.” Colton started nuzzling at my neck, and I giggled.

“Oh, it sounds like you are busy,” Tommy said, suddenly sounding distant. “I’ll call you another time.”

“No, Tommy, it’s-” He had already hung up before I could get the sentence out. I looked at the phone, confused. But Colton quickly took my mind off it.

“Strawberries,” he whispered in my ear as he ran his hands up and down my sides. “Come stay in my room tonight.” I felt a shiver run down my spine as he said it, and I could already feel myself getting excited. Colton chuckled at the scent.

“I’ll take that as a yes.” He scooped me up into his arms bridal style, and I yelped and giggled as he headed down to his room.

Once in his room, he dropped me on the bed and immediately started to nuzzle into my neck.

“Oh, baby girl,” he g*****d into my neck, and my lower regions tightened at its sound.

He leaned back on his arm and looked down at me.

“Do you trust me?” he asked, a wicked glint in his eyes, and I gulped but nodded. I wasn’t sure if I did, but I knew I should. He leaned over and kissed my nose and then turned and started rummaging in his bedside drawer. He turned back to me and winked.

“Put your arms above your head, baby,” he said, and I complied. He leaned up and grabbed one wrist, and I felt something cold snap around it before some movement and then something cold around my second wrist. He moved away, and I looked up to see he had handcuffed me to the headboard. I felt a heavy feeling go through me and my heart sped up. I looked over at Colton, and he grinned. I took a breath but was suddenly feeling trepidation.

“Don’t worry, baby girl” Colton moved down and started to unbutton my jeans and pull them and my panties down. “I got you” he began to run his fingers along my h**s, and I felt my body react despite my uncertainty. He leaned in and grazed his lips against mine before slipping his tongue in, and our k**s became heavy. He pulled away and looked down at me.

“You know I could do anything to you like this,” he whispered. “And you wouldn’t be able to do anything about it.” Something like excitement, but stronger with an edge of fear, ran through me. I started to feel like I couldn’t pull in breath quickly enough.

Colton’s fingers had wandered to the top of my thigh,s and he lightly grazed between my legs before slipping one in through my fold. I gasped as he plunged a finger into my entrance and began pumping in and out. I couldn’t help the m**n that slipped from my lips, and Colton grinned. He nuzzled into my neck and nipped at my marking spot, sending lightning bolts of pleasure straight to my core. I began to pant with the anticipation of the o****m that was already beginning to build. I tried to allow myself to fall into it but couldn’t seem to shake the on-edge feeling that I had. I felt like something wasn’t quite right.

I glanced around the room, and when my eyes landed at the door, I screamed. I saw Damien standing in the doorway watching us, and he rubbed his hand on the outside of his pants, where it was rather obvious that he was excited. He saw that I had seen him and met my eyes and winked.

“Oh, my Goddess! Colton!” I exclaimed. Colton looked up. His eyes were lazy but confused. I glanced at Damien, who had an amused expression on his face. Colton glanced back and grinned.

“Oh hey, man,” he said, not slowing his figures inside me despite the audience. He pushed his thumb against my nub and began to rub circles quickly. I could feel the pressure building even though I tried to push it away. I glanced at Colton and Damien.

“Colton, please,” I panted as I got closer to the climax. I could feel Damien’s eyes on me and tried to struggle away from Colton’s hand as his pumping got quicker, but the handcuffs held me in place. I could feel the edge of a panic attack chasing the impending climax.

“It’s okay, baby girl, just trust me,” Colton whispered. “Come for me, baby.” I heard the command in his voice and felt myself flying over the edge into the Climax. Even as the waves of pleasure rushed through my system, I felt Damiens eyes on me. I looked up, and he met my eyes again and again winked.

“Just wanted to say good night!” he said and then disappeared from the door.

The waves of pleasure dissipated, shame and panic hit me full force, and I started to hyperventilate. Colton finally figured out what was happening and leaned into me with his free hand on my face, caressing my cheek.

“Baby, it’s ok, calm down,” he cooed as tears began to run down my face. I tried to pull away, but the handcuffs still held me, and the panic increased even more.

“Colton, please.” I pulled on the handcuffs trying to yank my hands out.

“Hey, hey,” Colton suddenly looked concerned, and he reached for something on his bedside table and then moved up the bed and undid the handcuffs. As soon as my hands were free, I scrambled off the bed and moved as far away as possible. I noticed that my wrists were red raw from where the handcuffs had scraped them in my attempt to escape. I was still breathing heavily when I noticed a shadow over me.

I cried out as Colton came over and sat next to me.

“It’s ok, baby,” he said. “I told you could trust me, didn’t I?” He pulled me onto his lap, and I tried to get away, but he held tight.

“Calm down now,” he said, and I felt a calming sensation running through my body. I realised that he was using his Beta power on me, but at this point, I was so under it that I didn’t seem to care anymore.

“That’s it, baby girl,” Colton whispered. “Nice and calm. Let yourself relax.” My whole body felt heavy as I leaned into him and sighed. Colton lifted me up, carried me to the bed, and slipped me under the covers. My eyes closed, and I vaguely felt as he soon joined me in the bed and pulled me against him. I m****d, and he kissed my forehead.

“It’s ok, baby girl, “ he whispered. “We’ve got plenty of time to play.” Before I could figure out what he meant, I was swallowed into a dreamless sleep.
