Chapter 134
Chasing My Pregnant Wife
After breakfast, Rosalie chatted a while longer with Rebecca before taking her leave.
The driver drove Rosalie back to hers and Theodoreâs house. After returning to her room, Rosalie
laid on her bed, all spent of energy.
She didnât sleep well last night, and was feeling very tired right now. She flipped through the
resident register, and started tearing up at the sight of Theodoreâs name.
Now that she had their resident register, she had to call Theodore and tell him that they were now
able to file for a divorce today and things. would go according to plan.
But after the call went through, all Rosalie received was an automatic reply.
âIâm sorry, the number youâve dialed is not available right now. Please try again later.â
Rosalie tried again, but she received the same automatic response.
She thought Theodore might be busy right now, and waited for half an hour before trying again. But
when she did so, she found his phone
switched off.
Rosalie was dismayed..
Was he deliberately ignoring her calls? Did he have to switch his phone off?
Fire burned in her chest as she texted him, I have our resident register. Reply me once you see my
message. Weâll file for a divorce.â
Rosalie waited until afternoon came, but Theodore never replied to
her. She called him again, and found his phone still switched off. She started feeling anxious, and
change tack to call his assistant Yuvan
instead.
This time, the call went through.
Rosalie cut straight to the chase and asked, âMr. Fletcher, where is. Theodore? Why canât I get
through to him by phone?â
âMr. Spencer is on a holiday.â
âWhat did you say?! Holiday? Where did he go?â
âIâm not too sure. He keeps his personal schedule confidential. Hel said he doesnât want anyone
disturbing him during this period.â
âDid he go on a holiday by himself?â Rosalie asked.
âWellâ¦â Yuvan smiled awkwardly. âMadam, is anything the matter?â
The hesitation in Yuvanâs voice told Rosalie that Theodore didnât go for his holiday alone. âDid he
bring Cynthia along for the holiday?â
Dov
âYes, Madam. Do you need to talk to Mr. Spencer?â
Rosalieâs head buzzed and started to pound. She gripped the sheets. tight, and gritted her teeth
with anger.
Theodore Spencer, youâre too much!
He refused to pick up her calls, and even switched his phone off while. on a holiday with Cynthia.
She couldnât imagine what else this man was capable of.
She tried her best to calm herself down, and said, âYes, I do have. something very important to tell
him. Can you reach him?â
Yuvan said, âMadam, I canât contact him right now as his phone is switched off. Heâs already settled
things in the office, and is probably. intending to lie low during this period.â
Rosalie felt angry and indignant, but she couldnât get any further information from Yuvan. She had
no choice but to end the call.
Oh, yes! She should call Cynthia instead.
Rosalie reluctantly dialed Cynthiaâs number. If Cynthia found out that Theodore wanted to divorce
her, she would surely try to get Theodore back to her side.
But after dialing her number, Rosalie realized that Cynthiaâs phone was switched off, like
Theodoreâs was.
Were the two of them trying to stop others from interrupting their couple time?!
What a sickeningly loving couple. Even a newlywed couple on a honeymoon wouldnât take things
this far!
Rosalie was infuriated. It took so much for her to get her hands on their resident register, and it
would practically be impossible for her to get it again another time. But without Theodore around,
she couldnât file for a divorce by herself.
Rebecca called her in the afternoon to ask if she was done replacing her ID card, and to send the
resident register back once she was done.
Rosalie had to make up an excuse to say that she hadnât managed to replace her ID card yet.
Rebecca urged her to be quick, and Rosalie had no choice but to say
yes.
