Chapter 1368

Chasing My Pregnant Wife

After dinner was ready, Justin served all the dishes on the table.

"Rose, dinner is ready. Why are you sitting there spacing out?"

Rosalie snapped back to attention and jumped up from the couch. She ran to Justin and sang him praises, "You're such a good cook!"

She hugged Justin's waist, tip-toed, and kissed his cheek.

Justin looked down and kissed her forehead. "What's the matter? Not eating?"

"No, I just suddenly want to hug you," Rosalie said as she released him and sat at the table. She felt exceptionally happy as she took in the fragrance of the food.

Justin sat down and put some food on Rosalie's plate. "Eat more."

"Justin," Rosalie said as she looked up at him, her eyes glistening and voice dripping with honey.

"What is it?" Justin asked.

"Let's pick a date to get married."

Justin put his spoon down. "What date do you have in mind?"

"Let me check the calendar. Wait for me." Rosalie pulled her phone out of her pocket.

She realized that there was only one good date two months later.

Justin waited patiently. Rosalie then put her phone on the table.

"Justin, should we get married immediately or pick a good date? I checked the calendar, and the next good date is two whole months away."

Justin caressed her head. "I didn't expect you to care so much for tradition."

Rosalie held his hand. "I just want to pick a good date."

She knew that it didn't matter which date she got married on, as long as she was with Justin. However, when it was time for her to decide, she couldn't help but want to start things off well.

The human heart was always like that, making decisions differently after experiencing something for himself.

That particular date in two months was a great one for weddings, and she wanted any form of blessing she could get to see them through their marriage till they grew old together.

Although Rosalie knew it was nothing but a superstition that might not even be true, she just wanted it.

"Silly, I'm a foreigner. If we want to get married, I have to get some documents ready and prove that I'm not currently in another marriage in Melrine."

Rosalie's heart fell. "Oh, you're right. What should we do, then?"

"Don't worry. I know someone in Melrine who can help us settle the documentation. When the

documents are prepared, we can get ready to get married. It will take around one to two months.

Rosalie nodded. "Okay, that would be ideal. If we can't get the documents in time,

we can hold a banquet on that date and register our marriage another time."

In the eyes of the law, marriage was but a piece of certificate. What mattered most was that they were together.

However, that certificate

represented a commitment, so

Rosalie still wanted them to register their marriage and get that

certificate after holding their

vel

wedding banquet. Most importantly, it meant that Justin could stay in Blencalgo.

The silly look on Rosalie's face made Justin's heart leap with joy and ache at the same time.

Thankfully, she didn't get herself fooled by other men. What should he do with this silly girl?

"Quick, eat. The food's getting cold."

This simple pleasure of life was something that Justin didn't even dare to dream of

in the past, yet it had become a reality now.

It was all thanks to this woman before him.

He would be willing to exchange his life for a moment with Rosalie.

"You eat more too," Rosalie said, serving Justin some food. They were already looking like an old married couple even before they got married, but with more novelty and sweetness.
