Chapter 191
Chasing My Pregnant Wife
âYvonne? Why are you here?â Sebastian asked.
âI had a fight with Mom and Dad, so I came here to hide. You havenât told me who this young lady is
yet,â Yvonne said, staring inquisitively at Rosalie.
âSheâs my friend,â Sebastian introduced. Then, he turned to Rosalie and said, âThis is my sister,
Yvonne. Sheâs my fullâblood sister, and we have the same parents.â
He made sure to add the last part to avoid any misunderstandings.
Rosalie breathed a sigh of relief. âOh, sheâs your sister.â
She had thought Yvonne was his girlfriend. That wouldâve made things awkward.
âSeb, youâre pretty detailed with your introduction. You never introduce me like that to others,â
Yvonne teased, walking over in her high heels. âAre you worried this lady might get the wrong
idea?â
Sebastian frowned. âStop being cheeky. You have your own place, so why come here?â
âYouâre my brother. Canât I come to see you? Are you trying to kick me out?â Yvonne retorted.
âMiss,â Yvonne said, as she immediately linked her arm with
Rosalieâs. âIs it okay if I stay with my brother? Could you convince him? After all, Iâm his sister.â
Feeling awkward, Rosalie forced herself to smile. âMaybe I should go back.â
Since Sebastianla
for her to stay.
âWhy are you going back?â Sebastian frowned. âDidnât you agree to stay here for a few days?
Yvonne wonât bother you. Iâll tell her to leave.
Sebastian said this in front of Yvonne, who frowned unhappily.
âSeb, how can you say that in front of this young lady? Others might think weâre not on good terms.
Donât forget, Iâm your dearest little sister,â she said.
âWho are you calling young lady? Sheâs actually a year younger than you,â Sebastian said, rolling
his eyes
âOh, really?â Yvonne scratched her head awkwardly. âSo youâre twenty- one. By the way, I donât
know your name yet.â
âIâm Rosalie.â
âThatâs a lovely name. Can I call you Rose?â
Yvonne seemed to be the kind of person who could easily strike up conversation with anyone. She
was very enthusiastic.
Rosalie nodded. âAlright.â
Then, Yvonne said, âSeb, am I bothering you and Rose? You said youâre friends, right? Or are you
more than friends?â
Rosalie was startled. âNo, weâre not like that. Maybe I should go. You two can stay here.â
Rosalie turned to leave.
Sebastian stopped her, sounding annoyed. âItâs late. Where are you going? Stay here. Donât worry
about Yvonne, we have plenty of rooms.â
âYeah, thatâs right,â Yvonne chimed in. âDonât leave. My brother has never brought a girl home
before. Youâre the first. I want to get to
know you better.
âMind your own business,â Sebastian snapped coldly, showing no mercy to his sister.
âIâm just telling the truth,â Yvonne pouted.
âEnough,â Sebastian said sternly. âThird room on the left. Go stay there. Donât bother me if thereâs
nothing important.â
âFine,â Yvonne teased, swaying her body playfully. âIâll go to my room now. I wonât bother you
guys.â
She turned and headed upstairs, shooting them a curious glance and flashing a gossipy smile.
After Yvonne went upstairs, Rosalie chuckled awkwardly. âSorry, I didnât know your sister was
here.â
If she had known, she definitely wouldnât have come.
