Chapter 374
Chasing My Pregnant Wife
âYouâre just a selfârighteous bastard. It was a curse for her to marry you, but now, itâs finally over.
You two are finally divorced. If you have even a shred of conscience left, donât go and disturb her
anymore. She doesnât need you!â
Each of Sebastianâs words was like a sword that pierced Theodoreâs heart.
Those words seemed to float right before his eyes, each line vividly clear, and each word
transforming into Rosalieâs weary and pale face.
Drenched in rain, collapsing, feverish, cryingâ¦
He never knew such things happened to Rosalle.
If he had known, he wouldnât have rushed there angrily to take her away that night.
He wouldnât have been so harsh, and he certainly wouldnât have threatened her with divorce to
force her to come back with him.
He clearly saw her in tears, yet he completely disregarded it and forced her anyway.
Just because he was blinded by jealousy and let his pride get the better of himâ¦
Although Theodore was unwilling to admit that what Sebastian said was right, deep down, he knew
he was a right bastard.
What had this marriage brought to Rosalie? He didnât even dare to think too deeply about it.
The deeper he delved, the deeper the pain.
Yuvan wiped the cold sweat off his forehead again. Hearing Sebastian, he thought Theodore was
indeed a scumbag and deserving of a telling of.
Theodoreâs heart kept throbbing in pain, with no signs of stopping. His gaze was incredibly dark.
He turned around silently and walked toward the door. After taking just a few steps, he stopped,
turned back around, and said, âSebastian, Iâm a scumbag, but youâre pitiful. Heh.â
Theodore seemed to have cracked a joke, even amusing himself, but his smile was filled with
sadness. As a man himself, Theodore could naturally see Sebastianâs feelings for Rosalie. Even
then, while he would always be a scumbag, Sebastian might not stay pitiful.
After Theodore left, Sebastian took a deep breath and composed himself. He turned around, and
went back to the private room.
Pushing the door open, he saw Yvonne talking to Lily.
âYouâre back, Seb.â Yvonne glanced behind him, and when she saw no one, she asked, âWhereâs
Rose?â Since there was an outsider, Sebastian didnât show any emotion. âShe had something to
attend to and left.
âWhat? She left? What should we do now?â
Rosalieâs departure was too sudden.
Sebastian didnât answer, but went to Lilyâs side.
Lily quickly stood up. She didnât know what was going on, but she felt a little scared of Sebastian.
Such a
man made her feel a sense of fear.
âSorry to trouble you to come here for nothing. Yvonne will send you back, and weâll just forget
about todayâs events,â he told her.
Lily nodded. âOkay,â
She was still confused up to now. Even if something happened, she didnât understand.
âSeb, what happened?â Yvonne saw that her brother didnât seem to be in a good mood. âWhat did
you say to Rose? Why did she suddenly leave?â.
âItâs none of your business,â Sebastian said. âYou take Miss Yancey back. Iâm leaving first.â
âBut Seb, arenât you going to eat something before you leave? I havenât eaten yet, and the dishes
are already on the table!â Yvonne had slept all day, and was starving.
Sebastian had no mood nor appetite, so he said coldly. You guys eat. Iâm leaving.â
Seeing how forlorn Sebastian looked, Yvonne scratched her head in confusion.
It was strange. Did he and Rosalie have a fight?
Lily said weakly, âMiss Carter, does your brother like Miss Young?â
âOh, you noticed?â Yvonneâs eyes widened.
Lily smiled. âIsnât it obvious?â
âYeah, it is,â Yvonne said. âBack then, I could tell at a glance.â
âBut Miss Young seems toâ¦â
âWhat about her?â Yvonne asked. âDid you notice something?â
Lily smiled awkwardly. âI was just talking nonsense. Itâs my first time meeting her, so I have no right
to say anything.â
Yvonne sighed. âItâs really complicated.â
âBut your brother is really handsome.â
Lily touched her blushing cheeks with the back of her hand. Whenever she saw a handsome guy,
her heart would race. There was nothing she could do; she was naturally attracted to goodâlooking
guys.
âTsk, tsk! You like my brother.â Yvonne teased, putting an arm around her shoulder.
âNo, no, I just think heâs very handsome. Itâs normal for girls to like handsome guys,â Lily said
truthfully. âYeah, my brother really is handsome. Heâs not just handsome, but also lovesick. I donât
think you stand a chance.â Yvonne felt that her brother was head over heels for Rosalie.
Lilyâs heart seemed to be pricked by something. It was commonly known as heartache.
