Chapter 65
Chasing My Pregnant Wife
Just a few minutes later, the door suddenly swung open and Wesley
strode in.
âTheodore.â
Theodore turned, frowning when he saw his father entering. âDad, why are you here?â
What was Yuvan doing?! Theodoreâs family wasnât supposed to know about his accident!
âYou donât want me here, right? Well, keeping this incident quiet was the right thing to do. We canât
let anyone find out that the CEO of SK Enterprise crashed his car into a lamppost like a fool.â
Wesley had been trying to reach Theodore due to some urgent matters, which is how he had found
out about his sonâs accident.
Theodore shrugged. âI didnât crash on purpose.â
âI just checked your medical records that your own doing? Come on, what have you done now?â
fatigue while driving. Wasnât
Theodore didnât bother to explain further, simply saying, âIt happened, Iâm fine. Donât tell Grandma
and Rose about this.â
âDid you even consider how your grandma and your wife would feel if something happened to you?
Is it because of that woman, Cynthia?â
Everything was fine before Cynthia appeared. It was only when she showed up that everything
started going wrong.
Not wanting to deal with his father anymore, Theodore pulled his blanket over his head, like a sulky
child.
âYou⦠Theodore, someone needs to discipline you!â Wesley fumed as
he took his phone out of his pocket and dialed a number.
Theodore peeked out from under the blanket, frowning. âAre you going to tell Grandma? Sheâs your
mother!â
âI wonât tell my mother. Iâm telling someone else.â
Wesley wouldnât dare anger his own mother.
âAre you going to tell Rose?â Theodoreâs expression turned darker. Donât tell her!â
Before Theodore could finish, the person on the other end of Wesleyâs call had picked up.
âHello, Sydneyâ¦â
Hearing that name, Theodore breathed a sigh of relief.
âSydney, donât hang up. I need to talk to you,â said Wesley urgently. Theo was involved in a car
accident and was severely injured. He barely survived and is now bedridden. Come to the hospital
to see him. Iâll send you the location.â
When Wesley turned around after ending the call and sending the location to Sydney, he saw
Theodoreâs disdainful expression.
âDad, Iâm neither bedridden nor severely injured. Didnât you see my medical records?â
Wesley strode forward and tucked Theodore into bed, speaking with deep concern, âYouâre injured.
In your fatherâs eyes, your injuries are ten times more severe. A fatherâs heart goes out to his
unfortunate child.â
Theodoreâs face immediately darkened, a hint of disdain flashing in his eyes. âI bet youâre secretly
happy that I got into an accident, and were hoping that I was seriously hurt.â
âDonât talk nonsense. When your mom comes later, donât be so glib.
Since you were in an accident, you should be a good patient.â Theodore sighed helplessly. He had
been in a car accident, was lying in a hospital bed, and was now being used as a tool by his own
father to deceive his mother.
Suddenly, Wesley noticed some documents on the bedside table. He picked them up and flipped
through, his face changing drastically when he saw that they were divorce papers, especially when
he saw Rosalieâs signature.
Wesley held up the divorce papers. âExplain this.â
âThereâs nothing to explain. Itâs just as you see.â
âHave you lost your mind?! Didnât you just promise Grandma not long ago? And now, youâre getting
a divorce in the blink of an eye!â
âDidnât you already know? Whatâs there to be surprised about?â Theodore replied.
âIâm not surprised. I just want to smack you!â
With a loud tear, Wesley ripped the divorce papers in half and slammed them on the bedside table.
âDid you think Iâd just stand by and watch?â
