Chapter 12

Kennedy's POV

"Hey Lou?"

"Boss?"

"Do you know how to put up a secret something camera thingy?" I asked as I sipped my coffee again.

"I told you boss,I used to work on a surveillance company,Didn't I?" He says confidentially.

"Then can you put some for me in Fernando's home?"

"He's cheating on you? " he asks curiously.

"Not really but lately I have been having weird dreams and I sleep walked a lot,I always end up on Fernando's Bed everytime I sleep on the couch or floor."

"Maybe he's the one who's putting you in the bed,Who knows?" He shrugged.

"That is why I need you to put up a surveillance camera for me." I commanded.

"Is it the only reason?" He smirk.

"I know you're older than me but Im your boss,But lately the dreams Im having is about a man well I always ask him the same question but he never answers." I said forgetting the part where the man kissed ne.

"Um well,I could do that for you,Who knows,That there was an intruder in the house of yours and Fernando that you didnt notice."

"But I want the camera to be hidden."

"Sure thing." Louise smiled as he pat my head.

"Where's Arlo by the way?"Louise asks as he looks around "I didnt saw you carrying him."

"Well Fernando 'kidnapped' him and took him to his work." I groaned

"The black market or the firm industry?"he asks quietly

"I dont know,He never told me,I woke up on the bed and I didnt even heard a single bark from Arlo and lately The guards told me that he took Arlo with him." I sigh

" I hope Arlo would be fine." I said worriedly.

"Dont worry boss,He's gonna be fine.He's got the most wanted mafia by his side." He pat my head again.

"Ok I guess." I sighed deeply.

"Let's get back to work."

"Ok." He says tiredly and walked to the counter as I walked inside my office.

"Boss?" Louise knocked.

"Hmm?"

"Boss Fernando is here."

"I'll be there in a sec" I said and signed the last financial problem.

I walked outside my office and saw an irritated looking Fernando.

"Why are the guards aren't here?" He grits.

"Um well,I forgot." I smiled sheepishly

"Seriously?"

"Yes?" I said not sure about my answer.

"Im going to be away for a week,I want you to come with me,Seeing that even in this simple state,The guards are not much help to keep you safe." He explained as he picks Arlo up and gave him to me.

"And where in hell are we going?" I asked and leaned on the counter.

"Japan,I have a meeting with the Aka Yakuza's" he says.

"What's a Yakuza?" Louise butted in.

"Close to a criminal." I said and walked to the candy aisle.

"And what is an Aka?" Louise asked again.

"It means 'Red'" Fernando answered.

"So 'Red Yakuza'  is a Mafia thing too?" Louise asked enough for us to hear and not the customers.

"Yes."

"Well I'll be going for now,I will send the guards out and I'll be coming back later to come and pick you up." He says and walks to the door.

"You're not taking Arlo with you?"

"Im going to the den and It's too nasty for Diablo to see blood anywhere,Farewell." He saluted goodbye and left.

"Even for a dog,He has a heart too."

"Shut up." I shushed Louise.

"By the way,When do you want me to set up the Cameras?"

"By next week when we come back." I said. "Now if you'll excuse me too,I will be calling somebody." I excused and dialed Clarissa's phone number as she soon answers.

Good Afternoon Clarissa- Kennedy

Oh Kennedy,Good afternoon too,How are you?- Clarissa

Im good Clarissa,Can I speak with Gabby?-Kennedy

Sure thing,Gabby! Mr. Kennedy wants to speak with you.- I heard Clarissa calls for Gabby the soon heard giggles.

Ello,Is this Lord Kwennedy speaking?- Gabby giggled

Indeed,I am my princess Gabby.- I chuckled .

Lord Kwennedy?-Gabby

Yes,My princess?- Kennedy

When will you come back?- she asks sadly.

That would be a surprise for now,My princess.- Kennedy

Will you be there for my birthday?- Gabby

I will probably would not be there Gabby but Just hope that when I come back I have a lot of toys for you.-I lied.

Mmm,Okay- Gabby says sadly.

But can I go play now,Lord Kwennedy?- she asks playfully.

As you wish my princess-I chuckled

Bye Lord Kweneddy.- Gabby

Can you give it back to Ms.Clarissa?-Kennedy

Okay,Ms. Cwarissa!Lord Kennedy wants you.- Gabby shouted on the other line

What is it about Kennedy?- Clarissa

Can you please prepare the papers for when I adopt Gabby?- Kennedy

Sure,I heard that you got married already?- Clarissa

Let's not talk about that.- Kennedy

Im sorry for bringing that up Kennedy but rest assured that I will prepare rhe adoption papers and Congrats- Clarissa

It's fine and thank you Clarissa,I've got to go, Thank you again,Tell all the kids I said Hi.- Kennedy

Sure ,Goodbye Kennedy- Clarissa bidded goodbye and hanged up.

I smiled to myself and walk outside my office again.

Only to see the guards.That was fast.

"Which one of you guys,Can take me to the Den that Fernando is talking about?" I asked the six bodyguards.

"Im sorry Donna but that place is prohibited from you." The blonde haired said.

"What do you mean,Prohibited?"

"Boss Jimenez said so."

"Well can you take me to him?"

"Im afraid not ,the Boss is still on the Den,If you want to meet with him,He should be there in his Office for a few hours in the Cinco Building" the blonde guy said again.

"Well take me to him at the Cinco Building."

"Hey boss!Didn't Boss Fernando just left a few minutes ago?" Louise asked.

"Well yeah but the thing that I was about to say to him left my mind."

"Left your mind or was he that hot for you to forget something?" Lohis smirked.

"Shut up or Im going to fire you." I groaned

"You wont."Louise smirked again

"Whatever.Now take me to the Cinco Building" I ordered.

"As you wish, Donna" they bowed.

No need to be formal.

"C'mere Arlo,Now let's go" I smiled

I feel like the President of United states right now.

I have a lot of bodyguards with me on one car.

As we approach the building,I realized that It was more distant from the other buildings.

The car stopped and each one of us got out.

We walked at the main entrance and saw the same woman I rode on the elevator.

"Hi You must be Kennedy." She greeted as she hold her hand out to me.

"Yes,I am do you know Where is Fernando's office?" I asked

"Oh It's on the top floor,Just ask the guards they know where it is."

I smiled and left her a thank you.

"Is this it?" I asked the guards.

"Yes Donna."

'Ok.' I shrugges and opened the door as I hear a sudden gun shot.

I saw in front of me with pure horror a body of a young woman laying in her own pool of blood.

I looked at the person who was holding the gun.

"Kennedy!"

"I cant believe this." I said mostly to myself as I slowly backed away and left.

"Kennedy!Come back!"

'I cant believe Fernando shot someone right in front of my eyes.'
