Chapter 15

Kennedy's POV

I silently chew my prepared breakfast and Fernando sits across from me, Reading a newspaper while sipping slowly on his black coffee.

I grabbed another bread and put it on Arlo's food bowl.

I heard a knock on the door and stand up to get it but got stopped by Fernando.

"Stay here. " He stops as he grabs a gun from under the table.

"The fuck? " I said shamelessly as I bent down and looked down the table. Only to see another gun.

"Is this even legal for you guys to put this kind of things under a table in a Hotel? "

"Get back, Kennedy. " he commands while he pushes me back and grips the gun on his hand tightly.

He turned the knob and slowly opened the door as someone gets in and He points the gun

"Put that gun away, You're gonna give me a heart attack. "

"Fuck,Hayato I thought it was someone dangerous and shouldn't I be the one who's gonna get a heart attack since you came out of nowhere?" Fernando sighed as he slowly put the gun down.

"Relax ,It's just me besides I didn't came out from nowhere I came through the door. " he smiled. "We have all learn from the incident from now on ,Damn it was unnerving. " he shivers and smiles to look at me.

"Kennedy! Nice to see you again. "He greets .

"You're early than usual, Where is Kaname? " Fernando asks.

"He's gonna be a little late. " Hayato said as he walks to the couch .

"I'm going to bathe Arlo so you guys go do what you do. " I said then grabbed Arlo and walk towards the bathroom as he starts scratching on my arms painfully again. I hissed but grabbed continue on walking to the bathroom.

As I dried Arlo off, I heard an unfamiliar voice, I walked out of the bathroom while Arlo follows me out.

I saw another guy I'm the room who looks like an Asian. It was hard to think if he was a Japanese or a Chinese or a Taiwanese or a Thailandnese?? I forgot the name they call to people who lives in Thailand.

"Umm, Hi... you speak English right? "I smiled awkwardly as I walk to them and sat beside Fernando.

"Yes ,I do. I am Kaname ,Nice to meet you Donna. "He bows formally.

"Um no need to bow, Just a greeting would be fine. " I smiled

"What happened to your arms Donna? " he asks as He examine my now my full scratched arms that Arlo gave me.

"Let me look. " Fernando says hesitantly as he grabbed my arm and examined it carefully.

"Where did you got this? " he looks up.

"From Arlo, He hates bath so I often got scratches from him Everytime I give him a bath but I'm used to it. " I smiled.

"I'm going to call for an emergency kit and stay here,Hayato please stay with Kennedy for awhile, I will be back soon. " he informed as He grabs his coat while looking at his phone and left the hotel room

"What is up with him? " I asked curiously.

"Security breach on his weaponry company. " Hayato shrugged.

"Is it bad? "

"Not really, Just some small gang stealing some heavy weapon on his Weaponry company. "

"Oh OK... "

"Hey Kaname? "

"Donna? "

"Firstly, Stop calling me Donna ,Just call me Kennedy and secondly, Are you somehow a Chinese or a Japanese??" I asked curiously while Hayato laughs.

"What's so funny? "

"I am Korean not a Japanese nor a Chinese." He smiles.

"Sorry 'bout that." I chuckled

"Hey Kennedy, How'd you got Fernando to act that way? "Hayato asks

"What way?"

"Being caring and patient. "

"I dont know. " I shrugged

"He never cares about other peoples wound even a simple scratch like yours ,He wouldn't care about a thing even a deep wound ."

"Is that so?"I said as I look at my scratched hands.

I grabbed another pretzel from the box and continue on cheering on Kaname while Hayato and Kaname plays, Rock, Paper, Scissors with each other for the whole box of pretzel.

"Rock, Paper, Scissors " they chant as Hayato throw another rock while Kaname throw a paper.

"Damn it, You should have cheered for me Kennedy " Hayato pout while Kaname grab the whole box of pretzel.

"You are not good on Rock ,Paper, scissors that is why you are defeated easily. " Kaname chuckled.

"How long has it been since Fernando left? " I asked as I look at my watch.

"Almost an hour, Don't worry Ken, He'll come back soon. " Hayato assured

"I'm not worried, I'm just starving. " I groaned as my tummy grumbled.

"Didn't you just ate breakfast? "

"Well yeah, I just did but what can I do I'm starving again. "

As I stand up and walked to the fridge, A knock on the door sounded.

"Pizza delivery! " a voice shouted.

"Well speaking of food, There's one. " I smiled and walk to the door but suddenly got stopped again.

"Did you ordered pizza? "Kaname stopped.

"No,Did you? " I asked both of them.

"We never do deliveries especially for foods. " Kaname frowned.

"I'm going to check it out. Kaname protect Kennedy." Hayato said as Kaname nod then He slowly walks to the door and clutch his Gun just like Fernando did last time.

Hayato looked at through the peeping hole then He 's phone suddenly rings and he answers it as his face became blank.

"Let's escape." Hayato shushed as he gets in through the bedroom and walked to the closet quietly.He opened it and shoved the clothes away as He touch the wall slowly and it was pushed back .

"Umm, What is going on? " I asked confused.

"The pizza delivery is a trap ,I have specific instructions from Fernando to let you escape. "

"Why? "

"It's an ambush" He hushed as the wall slowly opened revealing a hallway.

"Let's go. " Hayato pushed and we walked inside.

"Wait, Where's Arlo? "

"The dog? " Kaname asked

"Yes. "

"You two stay here, I'm going back to get the dog. " Hayato assured as He walks back away to the closet and grabbed Arlo fastly.

"Let's run, They got in. " Hayato shushes as we run while he holds Arlo.

We turned to a corner and saw an open exit.

"Is this safe? "

"I don't know but let's just hope. " Kaname said as we walk down the ladder.

Kaname climbs down first ,I followed him and soon Hayato followed still holding a whining Arlo.

We reached the surface and saw a car waiting for us.

"Get him to Fernando. " Hayato ordered and he pushed me inside the car and gave me Arlo.

"Wait, You're not going with us? "

"We have our own ride don't worry we'll follow. " Hayato says then followed by a gun shot.

"Go! DRIVE! "Hayato shouted as the car drove fast.

But an impact came.

I heard Arlo's barking starts to fade away while my eyes has been covered in black dots ,I touched my forehead with the back of my hand ,Only to see blood as I drifted to a deep chamber of unconsciousness.

What happened to Kennedy?

He got hit and blood is drooling everywhere. Σ( ° △ °|||)︴dun dun dun.
