Chapter 2

Kennedy's POV

"Seriously?" I ask my brother as he continues to rant about his old days with Mr. Blue-sky eyed man I think I prefer to call him that but nah I think Fernando is fine.

"Yes and I remember the time tha-"

"Mikhail! I was being sarcastic please,Stop talking about your shitty old days with him..What I want to know is .Why in the fuck did Mama and Papa kept this lifestyle away from me?" I asked sternly while I pull my hair making it messy.

"You should ask your Mama and Papa that" Fernando pointed out as He takes another bite of the pizza I ordered awhile ago.

"I dont want to see their faces right now." I said sternly as I stand ip from the counter and grabbed my glass.

"They could clear things up for you." He says as He bents down and gives Arlo a pizza and I immediately kicked his hand.

"Dont give him pizza. " I said while Arlo pouted and he pits his wagging tail between his tails while I grabbed a box of dog food and opened it.

"Here boy" I said to Arlo while he comes near and Grabs his plate and dragged it away from me.

"I think you really should call Mama and Papa right now Ken besides They're the one who set you up with Fernando." Mikhail said as he stands up and grips my shoulder softly

"I'll call my father for better explanation to you too." Fernando said and left the table to call for his father.

I turned around to fave Mikhail as He gives me a sympathetic look.

"Is Gina ,Included too?" I ask for his wife.

"She wasn't supposed to but We love each other ...so she joined me,Even though It'll kill her."

I stand up from the table and grabbed my phone from the counter and dialed my Father's number.

Hijo- Papa

I want you to come to my pad right now.- Kennedy

Right away- Papa says as He hungs up on me

"My Papa is coming over ,I dont know if He'll bring Mama." I tell (Okay by the way Kennedy uses his brazilian accent to say Mama and Papa also close to the spanish accent but Kennedy's language is portuguese)

"My dad will be joining us in a minute." Fernando said as soon as he came back and I nod.

The door opened as my Papa and Mama cane in followed by their bodyguards while Fernando's Father was talking to his son quietly until he noticed that someone came in.

"Lucio! Good to see you again,Compadre!" Fernando's Dad greeted and hugged my Papa as They hug each other .

I came near to my Mama.

"Estou profundamente arrependido, mamăe por ter saído." I hugged my Mama

trans: Im deeply sorry, Mama for storming out .

"Está tudo bem, filho" My Mama said as she hugged back and kissed my forehead.

trans: It's ok,Son

I pulled away from my Mama as I make my way to my Papa.

"Filho, I'm really sorry,I put you up into this." My Papa apologizes

"It's fine Papa ,It's already done and what has been done cannot be undone." I explained

"You're right Filho." My dad agrees as He led me to Fernando and Fernando's Father.

"Ah, mi futuro yerno" Fernando's Dad said

trans:Ah my future son in law.

"Im Gustavo Jimenez, Your father's closest compadre and ally. " He smiled as he shakes my hand.

I took a glance at him carefully , As I have notice Gustavo and Fernando could pass as twins, The only difference is That Fernando's father hair was dirty blonde.

"Um,Hi... Im Kennedy..." I said as I feel my forehead sweating again for the third time of the day.

"If only, Aliyah was here..." Gustavo chuckled

"Shall we discuss about the engagement."

'Tsk,He didn't even proposed to me' I said to myself but sadly the two older men who was surrounding me was already laughing.

" Oh, Lucio...I didnt know that your son has a sense of humor" Gustavo laughed out as he wipes a stray of tear from laughing.

"Oh well, He got that from me." My Papa joined in

"Papa" I groaned.

"Okay Let us take things seriously now" Gustavo says as He leds us to my living room.

" I want everybody all out except Vivian,Mikhail,Fernando,Me,Lucio and Kennedy." Gustavo's voice boomed as his and my Parents men left my pad without hesitation .

" Ok....So what now?" I asked out of nowhere.

"Now is the time to discuss about your wedding." Gustavo said.

"Ok." I said sternly as I try not to frown.

"Honey,stop doing that face every time you dont want to frown." My Mama said as she pinch my arm painfully and I winced a little.

'Maldição, se esta mulher não era minha mãe eu já a bati na cara' I whispered to myself but failed because my Father heard me once again and flicked my forehead.

trans:Damn,If this woman was not my Mom,I already hit her in the face.

" Não se preocupe, eu não direi a sua mãe" my Papa chuckled.

trans: Dont worry,I wont tell your mother.

"Alright, Let's start" Gustavo clasped his hand. "Hijo,Please give the ring to Kennedy." Gustavo tap his son as Fernando reach for his pocket and gave me a silver ring.

"What's this for?" I frowned then grabbed the ring from the table and inspect it carefully.

"This are the rings that every Mafia Boss have especially for his soon to be Donna...Since you're my Donna, I give this ring to you as I accept you to be my Partner and Donna till death ." Fernando explains while he puts the ring on my left hand .

" Till Death?" I gulped. "Mama?"

"Im sorry,filho. It's just tradition." My mother explains as I put the ring back on the table while I face palm and groan.

"The wedding will be in Three months prior." Papa explains

"Why too long? I want this shit to end" I groaned.

"So you and Fernando here will get to know each other better until your Wedding." Gustavo smiled

"So after this wedding, I wont be having a normal life huh?" I smirked .

"You could still have your normal life routines but the only difference is ,You will be guarded from time to time and The fact that you will be trained like a soldier" Fernando's father explained.

"So I could still have a safe and nornal life?"

"Not necessarily,It would depend how the world will plan."

"Okay ... So I can do whatever I want?"

"Yes,you could do whatever you please as long as it doesn't involve associating with the P.I." Gistavo says sternly and Damn He was serious.

"And that was all to be discuss, The wedding has been planned and will never be re.arrange again. And Your fitting will be on next month" my Papa explained as he kissed my forehead while Mom does the same. "We should get going now,Filho, I love you " my Mama cooes

"I love you too,Mama"

" As well to you too Papa!" I added as He smiles and grabs my mother hand and they all left.

Now there was only Me,Arlo,Mikhail and none other than Fernando Jimenez in one room.

Well this is gonna be a great day! NOTE MY SARCASM!
