Part 3 Chapter 11

Ares POV

I thought I was going to die when I felt a pain rippling right through me as I st aggered and fell down to my knees and roared. Ben came to my side but when he touched me everything vanished.

Ben told me that I woke up after 10 minutes or so but he could have sworn that my heart had stopped beating. And I believed him, it felt like I was dead but at the same time l

wasn’t.

Then I had to wait but Helios contacted me and told me about

Ben’s father and I didn’t know if I should tell him or not. We continued to search for the missing children and our fears didn’t come true. We found all of them alive without the mark on their n*ecks but that cursed witch had made them shift too early. Damaging their wolves.

We took the children down to the village again and since I killed the st upid witch the vortex was gone and we could walk normally through the forest. As we came down to the village the first thing Andrei did was visit Amy and I had already told him to tell her who she was.

It took her a couple of hours to let it sink into her head that she was his mate and we had to explain about the mate thing. For a regular werewolf it is the wolves that are connected but for lycans it is the souls of the humans. The lycans will be satisfied no matter who the other lycan is. I hope anyway.

She agreed to come with us back to our kingdom as her family was already gone and she was hoping that her father was still alive somewhere. When I sniffed her briefly I could. tell that I recognized her scent from somewhere even though the sniffing earned me a punch in the face.

Andrei wasn’t at all happy that I sniffed his mate and I glared at him but he didn’t stand down which made me truly believe that they are true mates. As happy as I could be, I tried to distract myself from knowing that Nora wasn’t longer here in this realm and I could also feel elder William’s death.

A sorrow filled howl came from the outskirts of the village and I knew that Ben had realized it as well. Andrei looked at his direction before looking at me. The other came to my side as well and wondered what had happened and I told them that elder William was dead.

Then we continued our path home again. Amy and two other children followed us as they had come from the silver stream pack. It took us half a day to get home as the time was against us and I just hoped that the ceremony was in full swing otherwise, Andrei would lose his mate.

Nora’s POV

I watched as Ben’s and Samantha’s baby boy came to the world and grew up. He was really cute and then he found his mate and they had a family. I looked over at Mie and he

seemed happy and nodded at the little boy in the reflection of the water in the fountain.

So I and the moon goddess did it together, placing Mie’s soul inside Ben’s son that was still in Samantha’s womb.

“Seline, what about this dress?” I ask her.

“Oh, everytime that you come here you will wear it. You don’t even need to put it on, it will just appear on your b*dy when you arrive” she chuckles and I nod. I do like this dress.

I close my eyes and I feel the warmth from everyone before I transport myself back to my realm. Opening my eyes just to see the library’s ceiling but this time elder William was not above me. As a matter of fact no one was here.

I sneaked out of the library and through the corridors and up in our room where I had laid out my dress on the bed. I took a quick shower and dried myself before getting dressed and walked downstairs.

To say that everyone was surprised to see me was an understatement. Helios jumped up and grabbed me and spun me around and I giggled because of it. I k*ssed him hard before releasing him again.

“Gosh, you scared me to death this time” he says and I look at him and say that I am sorry.

Melinda comes and steals me away from Helios crushing me in her arms and I hug her back.

“I thought we had lost you” she cries and I wipe her tears.

“No crying it is your turn no, your moment and we actually need to hurry up before it is too late” I say and look at the king

and Mariah and both nods.

Daniel hugs me and Anna comes over and we hug and I turn to look at Samantha and I smile and open my arms and we hug and I can’t help myself as I put my hand on her stomach.

“Oh, you already know. I haven’t even told Ben yet” she

whispers and I giggle.

“It’s a boy” I whisper back and she looks at me and I smile when she suddenly starts crying.

I know that only girls inherit the vampire gene and she must have been so scared because of that fact.

“Thank you” she whispers and all of us walk out of the castle.

I look at the place where the ceremony will be held. It is the same spot where I broke the curse and I thought it was fitting since I know that she created the curse right here as well.

The king and Mariah stand in the middle and land Melinda walk up to them. Mariah is holding a bowl and a small knife. Helios stands by my side and takes the knife from Mariah.

“On this very day we will present to you another child of our king and she will be named and given the title of crown princess” Mariah says and everyone gasps except the king and Helios.

“I hereby declare Melinda as my daughter and I give her the name Isis. She is from my blood and with my own blood l accept thee, as my daughter and from this point onward your crown princess” The king says and Helios cuts his palm and he lets some drops down in the bowl.

Helios does the same as he cuts his palm.

“I, Helios accept thee, Melinda Isis as my sister and our crown princess”

Helios turns to me and I show him my palm and he cuts me.

Nora, accept thee, Melinda Isis as my sister and our crown

princess”

Our blood mingled together in the bowl and Melinda sobbed while holding her palm up and Helios cut her palm as well.

“I, Melinda Isis, accept my name and my father and my brothers and my sister. I also accept my new title as the crown princess”

When all of our blood meddled together and Mariah held the bowl up high a lightning came from the sky and put the blood in the bowl to fire. The energy wave came from within us and I felt the entire curse to break.
