Chapter 1222: I’m not losing all of you at once.
Pampered by my three brothers: the return of the neglected heiress
Slater grunted as he sat up, scratching his head groggily.
"I fell asleep," he murmured, feeling his stomach grumble. Licking his lips, Slater dragged his feet and listened to his body for some light snacks. He hadnât had enough food since the night before, so he knew he had to eat something before going back to sleep.
But alas...
Slater stopped in the next cabin and blinked. He rubbed his eyes, thinking he was still half-asleep. Perhaps he was still dreaming. But when he snapped his eyes ahead, deep lines formed between his brows.
"What in the..." he trailed off, his eyes on the unconscious cabin crew tied up just a few steps away from him. "... world happened here?"
A second later, he sobered up and rushed to the tied-up cabin crew. "Hey!" he called, shaking the person awake. When the person didnât wake up, Slater perked up and looked around.
"Penny?!" he called, getting to his feet.
As far as he knew, his brothers and sister were supposed to be here. But there was no trace of them. Seeing the tied-up cabin crew, a part of him told him that there were intruders on the plane. The mere thought that his siblings might be in danger made Slater act fast.
He didnât hesitate and rushed to the next cabin. No one was there, but Slater could already feel a gust of wind coming from ahead.
A gust of wind... in a plane.
That was not good.

"Second Brother," Zoren breathed out, heaving a sigh of relief. If Hugo hadnât reached him in time, they wouldâve been falling from the sky. However, his sigh of relief didnât last long because the situation hadnât changed.
If anything, Hugo was now carrying four people.
Could Hugo pull all of them up?
"Iâm not losing all of you at once." A deep breath escaped Hugo, steadying himself and making sure the wind and weight wouldnât pull him and everyone down with it.
Meanwhile, Penny slowly opened her eyes. A shallow breath of relief escaped her as she looked back to see what happened. But since half of her body was now outside the door, she had to straighten her back with great difficulty. With two grown menâs weight, she could barely take a peek at what had happened.
Fortunately, Hugo was standing awkwardly with his other hand and arm hooked around the seat, his foot stepping on the wedge underneath the seat, while his other hand was holding Zoren. His position granted her enough to put two and two together.
"Second Brother," she whispered before setting her eyes back on Atlas. "Second Brother is there."
Atlas nodded. "Hugo! Can you hear me?!"
Hugo didnât answer, but he did hear him. He simply couldnât respond as he was clenching his teeth, focusing every bit of his strength on holding the group together.
"Iâm going to kick him again!" Atlas yelled at the top of his lungs. "Can you keep holding?!"
Zoren studied Hugoâs face and yelled back, "Second Brother can still hold! However, if this plane tilts again, itâs gonna be bad for all of us!"
"Do it!" Penny relayed the message in case Atlas didnât hear Zoren. "Do it now, First Brother! I donât think they can hold much longer with that guy keep clinging to you!"
Atlas gritted his teeth and nodded. He kicked the manâs hand again by sliding his foot down his calf. Peeking down, he noticed the man struggling. Now that he thought about it, the pressure on the manâs grip seemed to lessen.
"Get off...!" Atlas screamed on the third try.
"Kyahâ!" Another piercing scream escaped Penny as they moved down a bit. The plane was very unstable, adding even more challenge to an already dangerous situation.
Meanwhile, the man felt his other hand slip from Atlasâs ankle. His other hand was tossed aside due to Atlasâs struggle. Now, he was only holding on with one hand.
"No..." the man breathed, seeing the height heâd fall from if he let go. "No!"
Again, the man tried to hold on to Atlasâs ankle, only for it to be kicked away. As the struggle continued, Penny made sure to keep her hold on Atlas and remain still. Atlas was making a lot of movements, and if it affected her that much, she knew it would affect those behind her as well.
"Penny!" After a while, Hugo shouted with everything he had. His eyes remained on Zoren, nodding at him. "Iâm pulling you up! Tell First Brother to stop moving and keep still as much as possible! Penny!"
"I heard you!" she shouted back. "First Brother! Second Brother will pull us up!"
Atlas ground his teeth, irritated at the persistent man on his ankle. However, he also understood Hugoâs reasoning.
"Tell that guy Iâm going to fucking shred him into pieces once heâs back here," Hugo hissed through his gritted teeth, his eyes burning with rage for that man and concern for his siblings. And he wasnât joking. If they pulled this off, that person was as good as dead.
The man wouldâve wished to jump off the plane alone rather than cling to Atlas.
"You heard that, you bastard?!" Filled with rage, Penny yelled at the man. "When we get back in there, youâre dead! Forget about my second brother, Iâm going to debone you! Youâll have more broken bones than if you fall from this altitude!"
The manâs breath hitched, looking up at the woman on the other end of Atlas. "Shit," he breathed out, not having thought they might survive this. "They wouldnât be able to pull us up back there, would they?"
A myriad of thoughts surged through the manâs head, telling himself that was impossible now. But then, he felt himself being pulled up. It was slow, but they were moving upward. Whatever was happening there, Hugo mustâve had more help.
Little did he know, what was happening inside the plane was far different.
After hearing Pennyâs yelling, Hugo and Zoren nodded at each other.
"Pull me," Zoren hissed, feeling Hugoâs hold on him tighten. As Hugo pulled him, Zoren held on just as tightly and forced himself to be pulled by him.
With this action alone, they started moving back inside.
