Chapter 194
The Adorable Twins and Their CEO Daddy
âMs. Gorden, Eliana made a dangerous mistake and needs to be severely punished,â Alissa said,
concluding her exaggerated story.
âYou should be fixing the situation instead of complaining.â
Rosalie glared at Alissa, and then turned to the guests and apologized, âIâm so sorry. We have made a
mistake. We apologize for causing you trouble. We can negotiate compensation. Do you still wish to
eat?â
âHow could we still eat here? Still, weâre not leaving until you give my boyfriend an explanation.â The
woman glared at Rosalie.
Rosalie quickly negotiated the compensation that the restaurant would provide.
As soon as the guests left, Rosalie grimaced and said, âYou two, and Jordy, come with me.â
Alissa, Eliana, and Jordy all went to the corner to meet with Rosalie.
âTell me, what happened?â
âMs. Gorden, please believe me. I wrote down that the guests at Table 10 canât eat nuts and I pasted
the note on the small blackboard. I even asked Alissa to repeat it to the chef.â
Eliana could barely get the words out of her mouth. She felt incredibly wronged.
âNonsense! You never told me about it. Besides, arenât you close to the chef? Why didnât you tell him
yourself?â Alissa retorted.
Eliana fell silent. She couldnât admit to everyone that she hadnât spoken to Jordy because she was
afraid he would harass her.
âWhere is the note you supposedly wrote?â Alissa pressed on.
âItâs on the blackboard.â
Eliana went back to fetch the note, but there was nothing on the blackboard.
âMs. Gorden, Iâve told you that she is lying,â Alissa repeated stubbornly.
âEnough, Alissa. Be forgiving. We are so busy in the restaurant. Itâs understandable that Eliana could
forget something. Donât berate her too much.â
Jordy spoke up, trying to earn Elianaâs goodwill.
Alissa remembered the handsome man who had asked Eliana to serve him earlier.
She couldnât help but sneer, âI think she forgot because she was too busy flirting with a male customer.â
What? âAlissa, flirting? What do you mean?â Jordy demanded.
âEnough!â
Rosalie glowered at the two of them, and then looked over at Eliana.
âEliana, in the restaurant business it is extremely important to remember when a guest has a food
allergy. Carelessness can put lives in danger. You didnât take this danger seriously. Iâm disappointed in
you.â
Eliana didnât know what to say.
She clearly remembered writing the note. Where had it gone? Had it fallen down?
She bent down and carefully searched the floor, but had no luck. When she was about to stand, a hand
pressed against her head.
âBe careful. Donât hit your head on the table.â
It was Maurice.
Eliana straightened up and gave him a look of surprise. âWhy are you still here?â
âI havenât gotten the chance to order yet. Why would I leave?â Maurice replied indifferently.
Alissa couldnât stand seeing the two of them talking, and quickly interrupted them.
âSir, customers are not allowed outside of the dining area. Please return to your table.â
Maurice ignored her and turned to Rosalie. âRosalie, how are you doing recently?â
âIâm fine. Thank you for asking.â
Rosalieâs serious expression softened and her aloof aura also disappeared.
âMs. Gorden, do you know this guest?â Alissa asked. âWho is he?â
âHe is a regular guest and a friend of the boss,â Rosalie replied.
He knew the boss? It seemed that this handsome man had powerful connections. Alissa was eager to
have him.
âMaurice, what are you doing here?â Rosalie asked.
âI am the male customer this lady said that was flirting with Eliana. Since it is my fault that Eliana made
a mistake, I thought I should come over,â Maurice said righteously.
âMaurice, you and Elianaâ¦â
Rosalieâs shocked eyes wandered between Eliana and Maurice.
âNo, Ms. Gorden. Please let me explain. Itâs not what you think. I was not flirting with him.â
Eliana was so anxious that she almost jumped up and down.
Yesterday there was a rumor that she kept a gigolo, and today she was accused of flirting with a guest.
Her reputation was ruined.
