Chapter 464
The Adorable Twins and Their CEO Daddy
âThey will disagree? But why?â Earle asked in confusion.
Maurice rubbed his forehead. âThese children have parents. You want them to live in the Moran familyâs
house? Of course, their parents wonât let it happen. After all, the parents of these two children are still
alive. How can they just give their children to other people?â
âYou donât have to worry about that,â Earle said confidently. âItâs actually lucky for them to send their
children to our family. They will definitely agree.â
âHow can you be sure about that?â Maurice asked, raising his eyebrows.
âOf course, I went to their house this morning. The childrenâs parents were very friendly. It wonât be
difficult to convince them to let the children live with us.â
Maurice was stunned for a moment. âTheir father was also there?â
âYes, he was there,â Earle answered affirmatively.
Maurice was even more confused.
How could Adrian and Aileenâs father be at home? Was Jonathan back from abroad?
And he directly lived in the house he got for Eliana?
Maurice looked at the twins and asked, âIs your father at home today?â
Aileen and Adrian looked at each other with confusion in their eyes.
Aileen was more confused. âOur father?â
âYes, thatâs right. Is he back?â Maurice asked again.
Aileen didnât know what to say. Did she have a father?
Adrian lowered his head for a moment. Then he seemed to think of something, and his eyes lit up.
âYes.â
âNo.â
Adrian and Aileen spoke at the same time, but they had different answers.
Maurice became more serious this time. âIs he home or not?â
Adrian grabbed Aileenâs hand and said to Maurice firmly, âYes.â
Since Adrian held her hand, Aileen didnât say a word this time.
She looked at Adrian in confusion with a little anger in her eyes. It was as if she was asking, âWhy are
you lying?â
But he just gave her a reassuring look.
Maurice had hurt Eliana, so Adrian wanted Maurice to misunderstand her and stay away from her.
Maurice stared at Adrianâs excited face, but he didnât completely believe what Adrian said.
But the scene this morning when Eliana stopped him, saying that she wanted to talk to him about
something, kept flashing in his mind.
Did she want to tell him that Jonathan was back?
Since the real father of the twins was back, she couldnât wait to disassociate herself from him? Did she
really want to return to Jonathan?
There was no way he would let it happen.
So what if Jonathan was back? As long as he was here, Eliana would never escape from him for the
rest of her life.
Mauriceâs anger was instantly ignited. His face darkened, and he clenched his fists. He was like an
angry beast.
His terrifying aura frightened Adrian and Aileen. Their faces turned pale.
âMaurice, thatâs enough!â Earle stood in front of the twins. âWhat are you doing? Donât you see that
youâre scaring them?â
Earle touched Aileenâs and Adrianâs heads and said kindly, âItâs time for your class. I wonât disturb you.
Go ahead.â
Adrian and Aileen nodded and went back to their seats obediently.
Then Earle took Maurice to an empty part of the corridor outside the classroom.
The expression on his face changed. He raised his cane and hit Maurice several times.
âHow dare you scare the children!â
âGrandpa, I didnât.â
Maurice knew that Earle was only taking this opportunity to hit him, so he didnât dodge. He felt the pain
in his back after he was hit several times.
Earle only stopped hitting Maurice when he was almost out of breath. He finally vented his anger, and
thus felt much better. His chest was less stuffy now.
After he calmed down, he looked at Maurice and said, âI wasnât kidding just now. I really wanted to take
the kids home because I really like them. I will leave this matter to you. Go talk to their parents. Iâm
going back to the hospital now.â
Maurice was about to open his mouth to refuse. But Earle interrupted him.
âIf you donât want to, then Iâll do it myself.â
His words were a clear threat.
Of course, Maurice had to agree. He couldnât let Earle meet Eliana.
âOkay, leave this matter to me.â
Earle and Maurice had no idea that someone else was looking at them secretly.
Silas had been feeling that something was wrong with Earle all this while, so he quietly followed them
not far away. And when he saw that Earle and Maurice were discussing something, he frowned.
What Earle said before rang out in his mind.
âThese are my new grandchildren.â
At that time, he thought that Earle only said those words out of anger.
But now, it seemed that Earle really meant it. He really wanted Aileen and Adrian to be his
grandchildren.
