Emmanuel and Sage entered the stone hall at Finley’s invitation.

Unlike the two men from the Lannister family before, Emmanuel had

mastered the Art of Adaptability. Therefore, he found Finley right away

despite the old man’s attempt to minimize his presence.

Finley was stunned that he had been discovered. Then, he burst into laughter. “Things have gotten interesting lately. Everyone claims the martial arts world

has reached its downfall, but the truth is, there are many geniuses among

you kids.”

It was his sincere opinion.

young men he had met in two days, who seemed to be around their late

“Mr. Ford, I’m here to find a person.” Emmanuel was worried about Roselynn’s

safety, so he skipped the pleasantries and cut to the chase. “Her name is

Roselynn Lowe. She should have entered the Ancient Woods with the

Summerton siblings. Do you know anything about it?”

“Of course.” Finley was frank. “Il tell you their whereabouts with one condition.”

“Which is?” Emmanuel’s eyes lit up with hope. He was eager to learn the

answer.

‘T’ll tell you once you defeat me. As a reward, I’ll pass on the most powerful

technique in the martial arts world to you,” Finley explained.

“Is it the Dragon Tome?” Emmanuel asked despite his shock.

“That’s right!” Finley chuckled heartily. “Countless martial artists dream of

obtaining it. Even Teddy Tanner of Zovince dreams of getting it.”

Teddy Tanner?” Emmanuel trembled. At first, he was disinterested in Finley’s

reward, but the mention of the name piqued his interest.

“Very well. Please enlighten me, Mr. Ford Emmanuel didn’t hesitate and

him, causing him to cry out. “That’s impossible!”

Thanks to Finley’s physique, he regulated his breathing in time, or else he

would have suffered internal injuries.

Even so, he had to adjust his breathing for a while before exclaiming, “Was

the older man for his compliment. He knew very well that he would have taken more than one move to take Finley out if Finley was in his prime.

Finley laughed heartily. “Good, good! I’m enjoying the battle so far. I’m happy

to see the martial arts world thriving with geniuses.”

He led Sage out the stone hall to descend the mountain.

“Emmanuel, I can’t shake the feeling that something is off.”
