Roselynn is nowhere to be found!”

Jake and Denis arrived one after the other, wearing the same look of

helplessness. They had scoured the estate but returned empty–handed, a

painful reminder of how little they had contributed to Emmanuel’s cause.

“Stop searching. Owen has taken her,” Emmanuel said.

“What?” Jake and Denis exchanged shocked glances. After everything

Emmanuel had gone through to find Roselynn, she had been captured again.

This time, by none other than the Quill family.

This is an unexpected turn of events, but also an opportunity.

“Mr. Lowe, the Quill family has gone too far this time. They don’t even bother

to hide their contempt! To kidnap Roselynn in front of everyone? They must

pay the price!”

Both men were part of their families‘ pro–war factions. While they lacked the

power to confront the Quill family, they knew Emmanuel could.

“I’m going to the Quill family now!” Anger ignited in Emmanuel’s eyes.

The Quill family had overstepped. Whether or not Jake and Denis

encouraged me, I’ve made up my mind. I’m going to storm in and save

Roselynn. Time is of the essence.

“Mr. Lowe, tonight is Master Quill’s birthday. The celebration is at the Glashire

Hotel. If you want to find Roselynn, you should go over there. Otherwise,

breaking into the Quill Residence may get you nowhere,” Denis suggested.

“Alright!” Emmanuel acted without hesitation.

After a two–hour drive, Emmanuel and Sage arrived at the Glashire Hotel

before nightfall.

The scene is eerily familiar. Back in Yeringham, we stormed into a hotel to

deal with William. But tonight is different. It was not a business banquet but a

birthday celebration, meaning the Quill family would be in high spirits.

“Emmanuel, the Wolf Warrior Unit is already stationed at the outskirts of

Eldoria. But entering the city will require official approval from higher–ups!”

Sage continued, “You could reveal your identity as commander–in–chief and

fake a mission to invade Eldoria. We can even ask for Commander Adkins‘

help.”

Emmanuel thought for a moment, weighing his options. “Hold the troop for now. If the Quill family decides to take things further, we’ll send the troop off.

But let’s not start a war unless it’s necessary.”

“Got it!” Sage replied, nodding. Acting first and reporting later comes with significant consequences, and it’s the last resort we should avoid.

Emmanuel handed his 5–Star Honored Battle General badge to Sage. “In

case Silver Fox Military makes a move, use this. I don’t want to cause a fuss

before we reach Zovince.”

“Understood!” Sage accepted the badge and left to make arrangements.

Wiping out Eldoria was easy, but it needed to be done carefully.

Wolf Warrior Unit 2.0’s ultimate goal was to eliminate Teddy Tanner. If they

caused a fuss, future operations would face massive resistance from the

state, and the Wolf Warrior Unit might even face disbandment again.

After Sage left, Emmanuel entered the hotel alone.

“Sir, may I see your invitation?” At the entrance stood the Quill family’s

henchmen including the security guards.

Emmanuel’s attempt to enter the banquet was unsurprisingly met with

resistance.

“I don’t have one,” Emmanuel said bluntly. “I’m not here to celebrate Master

Quill’s birthday. I’m here to settle a score!”

Owen abducted Roselynn, and that is the start of the war. I’ll leave no mercy

for my enemies.

The guard and the other men at the door froze in disbelief. In Eldoria, the Quill

family ruled unchecked. People feared and obeyed them. This was the first

time someone had dared speak so brazenly to them.

Without sparing him a glance, Emmanuel swatted him aside with a single

blow, sending the man flying several meters before crashing into the wall.

The guard slumped to the floor, unconscious, a smear of blood marking the

impact.

The others backed away, fear gripping their hearts. He then stepped into the

hotel as if walking through an empty corridor.

Inside the banquet hall, the air was thick with opulence. Chandeliers sparkled overhead, casting a golden glow on the lavishly dressed guests. The young elites of Eldoria mingled, showing off their wealth and status.

The women flirted with their eyes, some stared at him. Yet, Emmanuel paid

them no mind as he walked across the hall.

whereabouts.

Seeing his shift, Stella smirked, assuming he had finally realized his luck. “Now you get it, don’t you? Even the third scion of the Tanner family of Zovince- that fat man over there–wants me. He’s trying to court me and form an alliance through marriage. But I need a decoy, and this is your chance!”
