haven’t you? Why haven’t I seen any action yet?” Teddy asked, “Lowe is even

trying to stop the marriage alliance between us and the Chapmans. We

fierce. “Emmanuel keeps opposing me and even wants to kill me. Once I’ve

mastered the Dragon Tome, if he pushes me too far, I’ll have no choice but to

kill him!”

Gautier’s heart leaped with joy. The old fox was finally starting to show his

true colors in front of him, which meant he was beginning to trust him as a

confidant. Outwardly, Teddy always wore the mask of a virtuous,

road–minded man, a facade for the world to admire.

“I’ll make sure this task is done swiftly, Master!” Gautier promised.

“Good! I’m counting on you! Don’t let me down,” Teddy said, giving him a

reassuring pat on the shoulder as though they were truly close.

“Can you lend me two skilled fighters, Master?” Gautier seized the moment

and suggested. “I’ll go to Zone 4 tonight to capture Roselynn Lowe and have

them do it under the Lannister family’s name.”

As he stepped outside, he ran into Levi, who was just entering. They

exchanged brief greetings before Levi walked up to Teddy. “Mr. Tanner, aren’t

you disappointed in Gautier’s martial arts skills? I saw him injure himself

during practice.”

intentions. “Gautier is a genius. If he had started training earlier, he’d probably

Asked, puzzled.

“No, not at all!” Teddy replied. “At least the first half is genuine.”

“Then why is Gautier…” Levi started to ask but stopped midway, suddenly

realizing the truth. So these two–master and disciple–are locked in a subtle

game of wits!

“Levi, your task now is to fully support Gautier. Help him take out Emmanuel,”

Teddy ordered, also instructing him to gather skilled fighters.

Levi nodded, accepting the task. He knew very well that if Gautier sincerely

helped Teddy accomplish his grand plan, he’d certainly find a way to
