“Mr. Tanner, hand over the Chamber of Commerce seal. Now.” Ironskull and Ostrich strode into the Tanner Residence, their voices firm, leaving no room for negotiation.

However, Teddy didn’t even acknowledge them. He walked straight past the living room and headed toward an inner chamber without a glance.

“Hold it!” Ironskull stepped forward, blocking his path.

A moment later, a group of men led by Howard appeared, quickly surrounding them. “You’ve got some nerve causing trouble here!”

Clearly, they had been expecting this.

Gautier turned back, throwing Ironskull a smug look before casually following Teddy inside.

Ironskull clenched his jaw. “So that’s how you want to play it?”

He cracked his knuckles. “Fine. We’ll play your way.”

Though Ironskull and Ostrich were often considered expendable fighters from Dark Night Island, they were far more skilled than the average city guards.

Moreover, eighteen Wolf Warrior soldiers stood behind them, ready for a fight.

Just as the tension reached its peak, a streak of red flashed through the air.

A deadly chill washed over Ironskull and Ostrich, sending shivers down their spines. It was like standing at the edge of a cliff, staring into an abyss.

They barely had time to react before he closed in, his hands aiming for their skulls.

Then–a sharp silver light cut through the air.

Aora instantly halted. His power had increased drastically after refining the Dragon’s Reversal Essence–so much so that he believed that he could defeat him even if Rhett were still alive.

“Santiago, you couldn’t have shown up at a better time!” Ironskull and Ostrich immediately moved toward him, relief written all over their faces.

Santiago stood firm, his silver spear in hand.

For a moment, the air was thick with tension.

Aora didn’t dare make a move.

“That’s enough!” At that moment, Teddy reappeared, striding out of the inner chamber with a wide grin. “Haha! Santiago! You’ve finally come home! This is a great day!”

His arms stretched wide as if welcoming an old friend.

However, Santiago didn’t budge.

With a simple flick of his spear, Teddy was forced to stop.

Santiago stated coolly, “Teddy, hand over the seal. Now.”

His tone was firm, almost patronizing, like an elder scolding an unruly child. “A real man knows how to accept defeat. Dragging this out any longer just makes you look pathetic.”

Teddy chuckled, unfazed. “Come on, Santiago. Let’s not waste time on this nonsense. I’ve been waiting for you to return for years.”

He stepped closer, reaching for Santiago’s hand. “There’s something important you need to know.”

Santiago shoved it away..

Teddy barely reacted, only smiling. “Santiago, aren’t you even a little curious? Don’t you want to talk? Just the two of us?”

Ironskull and Ostrich immediately stiffened. They warned in unison, “Santiago, don’t fall for it.”

To them, this was Teddy’s territory–his advantage. If Santiago went in alone, there was no telling what he had up his sleeve.

On top of that, with Aora lurking nearby, they’d be sitting ducks.

Teddy chuckled, holding up a hand. He promised, “Relax, Santiago. My family won’t do anything as long as your people don’t make trouble, Besides, let’s be real here–if I tried anything stupid, you could kill me before I even blinked.”

Santiago studied him for a moment, then gave a slow nod. “Alright. Let’s talk.”

Ironskull and Ostrich exchanged uneasy glances, but they knew one thing–Santiago had his own reasons for agreeing.

This was, after all, his wife’s family.

Teddy led Santiago into a large, well–decorated chamber.

“I had your favorite liquor prepared,” he said, gesturing toward a side table.

Santiago replied flatly, “No need. If you’ve got something to say, say it.”

Despite their history–Teddy had once been Santiago’s brother–in–law and student thirty years before- Santiago knew precisely who he was dealing with.

Just then, a knock echoed at the door.

Teddy’s grin stretched wider. “Haha, right on time!”

With a casual wave, he called out, “Come in.”

A moment later, the door creaked open.

A striking young girl stepped inside, carrying two bottles of liquor–the kind Santiago favored.

However, he barely noticed the bottles. His gaze stayed locked on her.

He mused, She looks even more like Jane than Xylie does. If Xylie inherited about thirty to forty percent of Jane’s features, then this girl? At least fifty percent. Back in Eldoria, Emmanuel mentioned that she resembled Xylie by at least seventy to eighty percent.

Teddy’s eyes gleamed. “Yuna, perfect timing!”

Yuna walked over, flashing a warm smile. “Dad, I brought the best liquor, just like you asked.” Her voice was affectionate, her demeanor soft–starkly contrasting to her usual self.

Santiago’s eyes narrowed as he saw her resemblance to his wife, along with her gentle demeanor.

Unexpectedly, Teddy quickly waved his hand. “No, no. Don’t call me ‘Dad‘ anymore.”

Yuna blinked, startled. “Dad? What do you mean?”

Her voice wavered slightly. “Did… Did I do something wrong?”

Teddy chuckled, shaking his head. “No, no, Yuna. You’ve always been obedient, smart, and exceptional.”

Then, his expression changed. “Just… I’m not actually your father.”

Yuna froze. “What?”

She had always known she was adopted, but Teddy had raised her as his own. She thought, Why is he saying this now?

Santiago’s grip on his spear tightened.

Teddy gestured toward her. “Yuna, come here:”

“Why?” She hesitated but didn’t refuse.

She knew exactly who the old yet formidable man standing before her was–one of the Three Gods and Seven Saints. Even Teddy had to show him respect.
