Emmanuel shook his head and smiled bitterly. “Captain Payne, I guess having

a fiery subordinate like her will cause you trouble everywhere, eh?”

Aston hadn’t gone far when he spoke those words. Upon hearing Emmanuel’s

“Okay!” Roselynn tossed the key at Ryder and spared Emmanuel a glance

before she left.

I could always call a cab to go home. Rhea took the hint and turned to leave

as well. It seems like I finally live up to my title as Emmanuel’s personal

relationship expert today!

“H-Hey!” Ryder panicked. Although he had a driving license, he didn’t drive.

Therefore, there was no guarantee for his driving skill.

He couldn’t afford to make compensation if he accidentally left any scratch

on the expensive car.

He desperately wanted to stop Roselynn, but she kept walking.

“Achoo.” Crossing her arms over her chest, Tia sneezed.

It was only then that Ryder noticed that she was completely soaked. She

might catch a cold.

“Tia, l-let’s get you home!”

“Okay.” She nodded and took Tommy’s hand as she smiled at the boy

brightly. “Tommy, I’m going with you guys.”

father was unreliable. “You’re the first woman my dad sends home in a car!”

“Hey, you little brat!” Ryder raised his hand, pretending to hit his son. By saying

that, Ms. Franks will surely know I’m a loser.

Tommy grimaced at his dad before hiding behind Tia.

Tia was smiling at the heartwarming scene.

On the other side, Emmanuel and Sage arrived at the storage room at the

amusement park’s entrance.

“Here’s your medicine. One packet lasts for two doses a day. And here’s the prescription. If you run out of medicine, you can prepare them yourself.”

to Sage.

Sage chuckled. “I feel like I can live to eighty years old with the prescription

you provided.”

“Only eighty? It has to be a hundred!”

Sage laughed wholeheartedly. “It’s not a problem as long as you agree to

provide me with seventy years’ worth of medicine!”

Emmanuel feigned hesitation. “If so, forget about it. You can live a few years

less.”

Sage laughed at his joke.
