Kirk corrected Caroline, “I’m not going to do that. You are.”

Caroline refused, “I can’t.”

Caroline said, “So did he ask you to register his marriage on his behalf because you two have the same names?”

“Why didn’t you tell me such an important thing sooner?”

“Yes, the madam got into a minor car accident last night. The culprit behind it was her cousin, Layla.”

Kirk narrowed his eyes. “Did she call the police?”

“She did. Unfortunately, the car accident happened in the surveillance camera’s blind spot, so the police didn’t have proof.”

“Then, did you give this evidence to them?”

“Don’t worry, sir. I’ve already given it to the police in charge of the case. I believe that the madam’s cousin will be locked up in jail this time.”
