Chapter 671

In the Hackett family’s home, Yvonne saw Asher and Aurora bickering in the living room when she went downstairs. Then, Asher and Aurora broke apart and looked in Yvonne’s direction.

When they saw Yvonne up and about, Asher stood up and said, “Yvonne, you’re finally out. Do you want to eat anything? I’ll take you out for a meal.”

Yvonne refused, saying, “It’s fine. I’m hanging out with someone.”

She didn’t even look at Aurora at all. The rumors were true. She was at odds with Aurora. Her reasons for her enmity were simple.

Aurora used to like Adrian just like her, but then, for some reason, she had started to mingle with her brother instead.

Aurora kept saying that she loved Asher, but she simply loved his wealth. Otherwise, she wouldn’t still have Adrian’s college graduation photo in her pocket.

“Who are you having lunch with?” Asher asked with concern.

Aurora asked with feigned concern, “Yvonne, do you want your brother to give you a ride?”

“No.” Yvonne grimaced at her words. She didn’t have the energy to fake pleasantries with Aurora. I’m going out with Caroline. I’m almost late,”

Upon hearing that Yvonne was going out with Caroline, Aurora hurriedly grabbed her arm.” Caroline?

Are you two close? I never heard you mention this.”

Yvonne couldn’t tolerate Aurora’s attitude anymore. “What the hell is wrong with you? You’re just my brother’s girlfriend. Why do you care so much?”

Aurora’s expression shifted at her outburst. But she still held back her anger and said calmly.” Yvonne, I know you’re in a bad mood, so I don’t blame you for your outburst. But I’m worried about you going out alone. Why don’t I go with you?”

“Suit yourself,” Yvonne spat. Then, she turned around and left.

She really didn’t want to talk to Aurora. Therefore, she simply looked out the window after getting -in the car.

Aurora silently endured her anger to see Caroline. And so neither of them spoke as the car drove to their destination.

Yvonne and Caroline had planned to meet at Meadowbrook Mall, and Caroline was already there when they arrived.

Aurora’s eyes lit up when she saw Caroline. She was determined to win her over, no matter what Caroline was surprised to see Aurora coming with Yvonne. She hadn’t expected them to show up together.

“Ignore her.” Yvonne grabbed Caroline’s hand and walked to the mall.

Caroline blinked at her words, not knowing what to say.

However, Aurora had already put on her mask and hat and followed Caroline. “We meet again, Caroline!”

Caroline nodded at her words, and then Yvonne dragged her into a store that sold men’s ties. The ties in this store were all handmade and designed by top designers.

“Hello, Ms. Yvonne.” The saleswoman immediately recognized Yvonne and Aurora. She was secretly surprised to see them together, but her expression remained neutral.

She said, “Hello, Ms. Jenner, a new batch of ties has arrived recently. You can take a look around.”

However, the saleswoman completely ignored Caroline.

“Bring out your most expensive ties.

Then, Aurora said boldly to Yvonne and Caroline, “Buy whatever you want. It’s my treat.”
