“Why can’t 17” Rosalind questioned.

Aurora tried to say something to salvage the situation, but Rosalind no longer had the patience to keep arguing with her. “You should hurry up and leave. If you don’t, I’ll have to call security.”

Rosalind nodded at her words.

“But…” Caroline straight into Rosalind’s eyes. “Ms. Winslow, you’re wrong about one thing.”

When Gwen heard Caroline’s words, she tugged on her sleeve. Caroline was crazy. She couldn’t believe Caroline would find fault with Rosalind.

Rosalind raised an eyebrow. “Oh? What was I wrong with?”

Caroline explained, “Of course, Aunt Mary wants to give the role to the more suitable actress. After all, it’s a character she worked so hard to create. To her, every one of her works is like her baby, and she has invested her emotions in every one of her characters.”

Then, she continued, “So, when she gave out the role, she must have been very sad. She had to make some choices, and they must have been difficult to make. So, I don’t think she simply handed over the role to Aurora.”

Rosalind looked at Caroline silently, then sighed. “I finally understand why Marietta praises you Seeing that Rosalind had no intention of blaming Caroline, Gwen excitedly tugged on her friend’s sleeve.

After they entered the office, Caroline handed Rosalind her latest written work. Rosalind put her glasses on and began reading it seriously.

The room gradually became quiet. At this moment, the sound of high heels clacking on the ground could be heard again.

However, unlike Aurora’s blatant way of walking, this individual wasn’t making too much noise.

So, the newcomer waited until they came to the door. Gwen was the first to notice who it was.

“Aunt Ma-” As soon as Gwen opened her mouth, Marietta shushed and stopped her.

However, Caroline still heard her. She turned to look at Marietta with surprise.

Marietta walked up to the two of them and said, “Are you looking at Carrie’s writing?”

Caroline nodded, then glanced at Rosalind, who was focused on reading her work. She mouthed to Marietta, “Shall we talk outside, Aunt Mary?”
