Eddy’s eyes were bloodshot like those of an uncontrollable beast. He glared at Adrian.

“What the hell do you know? An outsider like you has no right to judge my relationship with Caroline!”

“Ah!” Caroline screamed in pain, startling the two men in the midst of their confrontation. They looked over at her.

Caroline seemed to be greatly aggravated. She shook her head frantically. “I-It hurts… Kirk… Who on earth is Kirk … Who the hell is he?”

Seeing this, Adrian pushed Eddy away. He carried Caroline and walked to the door. However, Eddy blocked his way.

“Put her down!” Eddy said icily.

He ignored Caroline, who was writhing in pain in Adrian’s arms.

Adrian was furious. “Eddy, you’re utterly heartless. Caroline is already in such a bad state, and you still don’t want to let her go? What the hell do you want?”

“I want you to put her down!” Eddy said sternly, emphasizing every word.

Adrian’s face turned red from anger. “Eddy!”

“Put! Her! Down!” As Eddy spoke, the bodyguards behind him gathered around them.

Adrian bit his lip in mortification. Then, he reluctantly put down Caroline.

Caroline didn’t have the strength to stand on her own. She looked like she was having a seizure. Her body convulsed as she laid on the ground in agony.

Adrian’s heart broke into pieces when he saw Caroline like this.

He couldn’t care about the situation anymore. He raised his fist and punched Eddy hard.

Eddy was unprepared for the blow. He took a punch in the nose, which made him gasp in pain and stagger backward.

The bodyguards immediately rushed forward, but Eddy stopped them. “Ignore him. Take the madam back to the room.”

“Don’t you dare touch her!” Adrian stood in front of Caroline once more.

Eddy sneered in disdain, “Adrian, do you really think you can protect Caroline? My second uncle didn’t even dare to show up. Even so, you still had the gall to try to take Caroline away.”

Adrian stared at Eddy with red eyes. “If you want to take her away, you’ll have to do it over my dead body!”

“Fine! Get him!” Eddy gave an order, and bodyguards on both sides surrounded Adrian.

The bangs held a lot of strength, as if thousands of troops were outside that door.

The door had been struck so many times that it was about to fall apart.

Eddy’s expression shifted. “Go! Block the door!”
