Luo Chen had a proud look on his face. He pointed at a certain someone and bragged, “Who was the person that just said I would never get a spot? Does her face hurt?”

Qiao Nian had now gone completely insane, “So the UCC is not a big deal. Anyone can get into it!”

After throwing down this statement, she went to grab Qin Yongmei, “Mom, let’s go.”

Cui Yan’s expression remained collected and honest, it was as if he didn’t think he had anything to apologize for.

Then, he sternly looked over to Qiao Qing, “Qingqing!”

Qiao Qing said, “I already said I’m going to get in by writing the entrance exam. Nobody can change my mind about that.”

Qiao Nian stopped her footsteps abruptly upon hearing this. She turned around and coldly laughed, “You better remember what you said today. Everyone is here, everyone heard you! I sure want to see if you can get into UCC or not!”

Then, she left without another look.

“Qingqing, you! Aye!” Qiao Zhizhuo sighed and headed towards the backyard.

Meng Chunhua snickered coldly as well, “Just because you placed once in an exam, you think you can climb up to the sky! You have no sense of anything!”

“I’m not cursing you. But if you want to take the exam and get in with your grades, you have 1/10th the chance of Niannian getting in!”

“You don’t want a free dinner and instead want to rely on your abilities. You are just the same as your mother – an idiot!”

Qiao Qing’s eyes narrowed at those words.

Meng Chunhua quivered a little at the look in Qiao Qing’s eyes, “What are you looking at!”

“Okay, mom!” Qiao Zhiwen rubbed his brows. He had a headache looking at the crowd, “I’m sorry for putting on a show. Everyone, please leave now.”

After everyone departed, Cui Yan looked over to Qiao Qing and grinned, “You have courage, and also confidence. I had some doubts about my decision, but it seems like I was right about you. The University of Capital City will welcome you at the end of August.”

Then, he looked over to Jing He, “Let’s go.”

After Cui Yan and Jing He left, He Wanqing stared at Qiao Qing worriedly.

“Baby, mommy will always support your decision, but this time, I can’t quite understand. You gave up a great opportunity. Why must you take the exam? What if you fail?”
