Shen Jie nodded, “Coming.”

Then, he looked over to Qiao Qing, “Qingqing, let’s go.”

Luo Chen grabbed onto Shen Jie right away. He gulped and widened his eyes, “Qingqing is the screenwriter for this show?”

Luo Chen felt his throat go dry, “Then who is the author of the novel? Who is Feng Ci?”

Shen Jie was taken aback, “The original author is the screenwriter. You don’t know? That is public information.”

Then, he looked over to Qiao Qing, “Didn’t you say he’s your friend? He’s here at the opening ceremony but he doesn’t know who you are?”

His words petrified Luo Chen.

His light grey eyes blinked a few times, then blinked a few times more. He acted as if he no longer recognized Qiao Qing.

Qiao Qing noticed Luo Chen’s thunderstruck ways and wondered if she made a mistake by telling him who she was.

The MC outside called for them again, so she left with Shen Jie.

Inside the coffee shop, the duo heard what the MC had said and fixated their eyes on the door to the private room.

When they saw Qiao Qing and Shen Jie walk out together and head to the Buddha, Mu Jinghang almost fell out of his chair. Jun Yexuan, on the other hand, shook so hard his coffee spilled.

Qi Yusen’s cold face was obviously astonished. As for Qi Yuyang, he was completely knocked out.

Qi Yusen was in shock for a long time before he realized something else. Nervously, he shot Qi Yuyang a look.

Qi Yusen threw him inside the car and shouted to Ning Ye, “Take him back.”

Qi Yuyang heard this and grabbed onto Qi Yusen’s sleeve, “Brother, you’re sending me away but you’re staying?! Do you have your eyes on her also? That’s no good. I liked her first! I want her as my wife! I’m serious!”

Qi Yusen frowned deeply, “Drive!”

Inside the coffee shop, Mu Jinghang finally reacted, “Third... third bro, am I dreaming? Qingqing is Feng Ci? Those three books were written by Qingqing?”

Jun Yexuan’s gaze was stuck on that slender silhouette. The way he breathed sped up as well.

“My god.” Mu Jinghang hit his own forehead, “No wonder she was so furious when I said Feng Ci was likely a balding old man!”

Jun Yexuan’s eyes remained glued to that silhouette. He ignored Mu Jinghang.

Mu Jinghang didn’t mind and muttered to himself, “She’s only 18! Yet she wrote a book about a business war?! Even that detective book of hers, ‘Floating and Sinking’, was out of the world intricate. The viewpoint expressed by that book could only be written by a genius who has spent their life battling in the business world.”
