Just then, Ning Ye walked up to everyone, “Young master, young miss, lunch is ready to be served.”

Luo Chen turned to leave but Jun Yexuan stopped him, “Why are you leaving dude? Stay and have lunch with us.”

“Huh?” Luo Chen had no idea why Jun Yexuan kept him.

Qi Yuyang rolled his eyes, “This guy sure is acting like he’s the man of the house. Don’t forget, you yourself are an uninvited guest.”

Jun Yexuan chuckled, “He came just to give brother a birthday gift. Why should we not ask him to stay and share the birthday cake? We are celebrating brother’s birthday at lunch, right?”

“That’s true.” He Wanqing agreed, “It’s lunch time, why would he leave? There’s a whole lot of us already, adding one more is no big deal. Just eat here.”

Luo Chen looked over to Qi Yusen, who said nothing. Instead, he started to walk towards the dining room, “Let’s go.”

Just like that, Luo Chen somehow ended up eating at the Qi manor.

Halfway through lunch, a graceful voice arrived from the door, “Luo Chen?”

Luo Chen dropped his chopsticks at once.

Nervously, he turned his head. When he saw Luo Xinghang, he chuckled dryly, “B... Brother, what are you doing here?”

Luo Xinghang saw Qi Yusen, who sat beside Luo Chen, and narrowed his eyes.

“We live right next door yet you are eating here? You think I’m too poor to raise you?”

Luo Chen’s throat tightened. He couldn’t help but look over to Qi Yusen.

Mu Jinghang said, “He’s just a kid having a meal with us. Young master Luo, you are being a little dramatic. Plus, he bought brother Qi a birthday gift. So it’s only polite for brother Qi to ask him to stay for lunch, right?”

“Is that right?” Luo Xinghang’s lips curled in a strange manner. He walked over and soundlessly wedged himself between Luo Chen and Qi Yusen.

“I’m not being dramatic. It’s just that Luo Chen never listens to me. He’s very sensitive but he keeps on trying to eat things that are not good for him. I have to keep an eye on him in case he eats something he’s allergic to.”

Qi Yusen on the other hand, was calm the whole time. Like Qiao Qing, he acted as nothing bothered him.

Wedged beside his own brother and Qingqing’s brother, Luo Chen ate his meal in great agony.

After lunch, he didn’t get to eat the cake before Luo Xinghang dragged him away.

At night time, the Qi brothers and Jun Yexuan changed into their formal wear.

Qi Yuyang tied his tie as he asked, “Big bro, how are we crashing this party tonight? Also, I thought you said we were introducing our sister to the family? If we don’t bring her, how do we introduce her?”

Qi Yusen simply answered, “You’ll find out when the time comes.”
