Right before the Qi family’s longing and hopeful stares, Qi Yusen calmly dropped the bomb.

Qi Yeli and Qi Yunyan exchanged glances. They then looked over to Qi Yusen and wondered how he’d finish what he started.

Qi Yusen’s face was as calm as a soldier prepared for war, “If I did bring the sister over earlier, would you have not adopted that murderer? Remember, back then, you didn’t know what she had done.”

Qi Shengkuan choked up.

Qi Yusen continued, “I originally wanted to introduce my sister to the family during the birthday party as a surprise to you and grandma. However, who knew you guys adopted a girl despite my and a few others’ objections. Not only that, but you also spoiled the hell out of her.”

“That’s not even all. For that adopted granddaughter, grandma even tried to steal away the one thing my sister wanted at the auction. She had no idea how important that object is to my sister. What makes this all so infuriating is that -”

Qi Yusen paused as everyone else’s heart rose to their throats, “Because of how much you spoiled that adopted girl, because of the resources you’ve given her, our sister almost died!”

The Qi family stopped breathing. Qi Chengyu lost his normal chivalry and gentlemanly manner. He stared at Qi Yusen impatiently and screamed, “What happened! You better explain yourself!”

“The Qi family is big and so is our corporation. But, I’ve been the one ensuring that everything’s running well behind the scene.” Qi Yusen’s tone was sharp and unforgiving, “You sure are generous towards this girl. It doesn’t matter that you keep on buying her gifts. But how dare you casually give her $50M?!”

Then, he clapped his hands and a team of police came in with an arrested prisoner.

Qi Yusen stared at the confused Qi family and explained, “That murderer found out the existence of our sister. She was scared of losing your affection and used the $50M you gave her to hire someone to kill our sister!”
