Chapter 608: This Human is not to be Messed with

“What the hell! This horse understands us?” Meng Xizhou’s eyes widened.

Just then, an employee dashed over in a hurry. When he reached the group, he wiped his forehead.

“I was wondering where he was. So he came here. I’m sorry, miss, I’ll take him away right now.”

Qiao Qing handed him a credit card, “Assign him under my name.”

“Huh? Yes!” This employee knew about Qiao Qing taming this horse so he took the card and went to process it.

During the wait time, an impatient voice came from the front.

“Hey! Are you going or not?! You said you’re going to tame a firefox with me right?! If you don’t go, how do you tame it?!”

Everyone turned to look and saw Gong Yi, who had left, return.

Lin Miao said, “Brother Gong, wait a bit. Ms. Qiao wants to purchase Gale and the employee’s going through the process.”

Gong Yi’s eyes brightened as he stared at Qiao Qing, “That means you’re going to be staying here long term?”

Jun Yexuan rolled his eyes and poured cold water on him, “It’s a horse. We can take him wherever we go.”

Everyone was speechless. Why did Gong Yi act like a child who was just refused candy?

The employee processed the purchase and returned Qiao Qing her card. He then tried to take Gale and leave.

Gale unwillingly let go of Qiao Qing’s sleeve, then rubbed his head against Qiao Qing’s arm. Only then, did it leave with the employee.

Gong Yi then blurted out, “Can we go now?”

Qiao Qing nodded. After she took a look at Jun Yexuan and Qi Yusen, she said, “Let’s go.”

The crew went back to the Gong home. Lin Miao and the others came as well out of curiosity.

Mo Huan wanted this firefox as a pet. So naturally, she came as well.

The group straight away went to the cage where the firefox was kept.

“This is it,” Gong Yi grinned, “I got this plaything when I went hunting.” It’s just a little wild and refuses to be a pet. It’s also got sharp teeth and has hurt a lot of caretakers already.”

Qiao Qing lowered her body and looked at this caged little animal.

This adult firefox was completely red and was about the side of a mature cat. It’s got a fuzzy thick tail and its fur was almost shiny.

Its eyes were blue like the deep ocean. Absolutely beautiful.

However, when this firefox saw all the strangers, all the fur on its body tensed up. It growled at the strangers to warn them.

Jun Yexuan lifted an eyebrow and worriedly looked over to Qiao Qing, “Is this okay? This guy looks a little too wild. If you aren’t sure…”

“Trust me.” Qiao Qing interrupted him and headed to the cage.

The firefox’s teeth bared even wider at the stranger. Its tail was now also lifted as its butt shifted backward.

While it violently stared at this unwelcoming guest, it growled more to threaten Qiao Qing.

Just then, Qiao Qing placed her hand onto the cage and narrowed her eyes. A huge gush of suppressive energy was released from her body.

The little firefox, that only acted tough, felt its legs go numb. Its tail also draped down as a result.

This human was not to be messed with.

Then, it watched as Qiao Qing’s lips opened and closed - it delivered a message.

“Don’t be scared. They won’t hurt you if you be good. Plus, you’ll get food, water, and a comfortable place to sleep. You’ve been captured so freedom is no longer a choice. If you remain aggressive and try to escape, you may be kept in here your entire life, or even killed.”
