Qiao Qing heard this and then grabbed onto Gong Yi’s wrist. With a “crack”, she twisted his hand back to how it was, “You’re good now. Take me to the perfume room.”

After another loud howl, Gong Yi now sweated profusely. He then pressed the “down” button to take them back to where they were.

After she asked, she saw the girl who stood beside Gong Yi. The girl wore a brown knit sweater matched with green jeans. Her natural undyed and uncurled hair was put in a high ponytail and it made her look cool and relaxed.

Her flawless skin looked like it could be pierced by the wind and her features were indescribably exquisite. It was obvious that she was a student who had yet to graduate as she oozed with vitality.

Was she the CEO’s girlfriend?

Gong Yi pushed Qiao Qing forward, “This is the new perfumer hired by us. She’s going to attend the perfume competition on behalf of the company and design a brand-new fragrance. During this period of time, stop working on what you normally work on and help guide her. Be patient and explain to her whatever she doesn’t know.”

Xu Lu wasn’t too sure what he meant

Based on what he was saying, he was asking her to train the new employee. But… for the perfume competition? New product?

And she’s going come up with a new product just for the competition?”

“She doesn’t know nothing,” Gong Yi said.

At least she knew the brand “Wild Green”.

Xu Lu was so furious she laughed, “CEO Gong, this joke isn’t funny.”

“The competition is happening soon, and the new product is nowhere near finished. Yet you want me, the lead perfumer, to assist a new employee?!”

“Does she have any products on her portfolio that I might know of? To place all the hope on herself and ask her to win against the Xu Corporation is a joke. She’s not even going to get through the first round, let alone win!”

“Even if the fragrance line isn’t the backbone of the Gong Corporation, we shouldn’t treat it this lightly?!”

Xu Lu was obviously furious and that was why she spoke so many lines that would offend her boss.

To her, he was humiliating her.

Qiao Qing was the “bossy CEO’s shy little wife” that she reads about. Gong Yi was letting her play around with the company just to please her.

Gong Yi was scolded by her employee in front of Qiao Qing and this made his face drop.

“Are you the CEO or am I?! Has nobody taught you to follow orders from your boss?!”

“As you are aware, the fragrance line isn’t the main product of the Gong Corporation. So don’t think for a second you are in a top position here in the company as the lead perfumer!”

“If you dare to doubt my orders, then I can guarantee you that I can replace you in a second!”

Xu Lu appeared flustered now. She dared to speak to Gong Yi this way because she was the lead perfumer and they were counting on her to win the competition.

If she wasn’t, she wouldn’t have dared to shout at Gong Yi.

Who knew Gong Yi would refuse to save her any face.
