When Xu Lu saw Qiao Qing enjoy the view of the sea of flowers, she started to mock again.

“I told you, the company has extracts of everything that grows here! You don’t listen to me and ran all the way over here because you think what we have aren’t usable?!”

“The Gong Corporation is an international corporation. Why would we have fake goods?! We only have 2 weeks until the competition and you’re thinking of sourcing the raw materials yourself?!”

“Plus, many spices can’t be harvested during this season. You think you can get more ingredients here than back at the office?!”

Qiao Qing ignored her and breathed in the fresh air with her eyes closed.

Xu Lu thought Qiao Qing was smelling the flowers and skeptically stared, “What are you sniffing at?! All the scents here are mixed together! Even the strong-smelling ones are interfered with by other weaker-smelling plants. You wanted to come to the manufacturer because you wanted to smell around?!”

Qiao Qing glared at her, “Do you know how noisy you’re being?!”

Xu Lu choked again and her face went dark, “The CEO said you’re my responsibility, so it is my duty to…”

Now that she started again, Qiao Qing decided to turn around and search for what she came for herself.

Xu Lu’s face darkened again because of Qiao Qing’s attitude. Unwillingly, she followed.

“Take my advice, you should stop going so far. I see right through you. You’re using the CEO’s affection to horse around because you are interested in perfumes.”

“But you should read the situation and realize the timing of your actions. The competition is happening soon, and we are in the middle of coming up with a new product. Is it right for you to interfere with us at a time like this?!”

“Even if you will never be a part of the Gong family, you are at least involved with CEO Gong right now. Can’t you think on his behalf?!”

“CEO Gong also needs some scolding. Why did he ask me, the lead perfumer, to come up and humor you? He’s giving up the good of the company to spoil you.”

“Plus, he said he’s counting on you to change the future of the fragrance line in the company?! What a joke!”

“The Xu Corporation has Xu Pingting as their perfumer. There’s no way the Gong family can win. Her talent is something even I cannot compare with. Yet you think you have a shot?!”

Qiao Qing couldn’t help but glare at her, “Are you thirsty?”

Xu Lu stammered for a second, “Thirsty? I’m not!”

When she realized Qiao Qing was mocking her, her face turned dark again.

“I’m doing you a favor by saying all this to you. You should realize who you are and bid farewell to the CEO. Don’t waste my time by making a ruckus here!”

“If I can spend this time making a perfume, I may not beat Goddess Xu Pingting and get number one, but I can at least get a high ranking for the Gong family. I can save the face of the Gong Corporation by not losing too hard. What’s with your attitude?!”

Qiao Qing said, “Did I ask you to follow me around? You can go back anytime and make that perfume of yours.”

Xu Lu choked again, “You think I want to watch over you?! The CEO asked me to take care of you. If I leave you behind, and the CEO saw, he’d punish me!”

“Plus, if I don’t watch over you, and you do unspeakable things to our equipment and ingredients, then what will we do?! All of that is the Gong Corporation’s resources!”

“What is it? Did I hurt you when I said you can’t compare to Goddess Xu Pingting? But that’s the truth. Not only is she the lead perfumer in the Xu Corporation, but she’s also very well known internationally.”

“All the popular products on the market right now were produced by her. You dare to compete against her?!”

Qiao Qing laughed at this, “Aren’t you the lead perfumer for the Gong Corporation? How come everything you say is about how much you admire the Xu Corporation’s perfumer? Aren’t you afraid that the CEO thinks of you as their spy?”
