Xu Pingting noticed that Jun Yexuan didn’t straight up decline and her heart fluttered.

Qiao Qing didn’t speak.

Gong Yi, however, twisted his brows, “Who did you hear that from?!”

“I have no other intention. Young master Gong, there’s no need to be aggressive,” Xu Pingting smiled, “I just want to befriend Ms. Qiao and exchange knowledge regarding perfume mixing. If there’s something Ms Qiao doesn’t know or needs help with, I can do whatever I can to help out.”

Qiao Qing’s response was cold, “No need.”

Her emotionless rejection froze Xu Pingting’s face. Silently, she cursed at Qiao Qing for being stupid.

An idiot who thought she could make a perfume using Spiritual Cotton Flower… if it weren’t for the sake of third young master Jun and young master Qi, she wouldn’t even offer her help.

She willingly offered help and that girl said no? She’ll watch her flop hard at the competition then!

Xu Pingting kept those satisfying thoughts to herself.

Just then, a few waiters came with a trolley.

Xu Pingting was about to open up the napkin and place her utensils when someone from the front desk shouted, “Number 27! Number 27! Your table is ready! Ms. Xu Pingting! Your table is ready!”

Mu Jinghang faked a smile, “So Ms. Xu already has a seat. It looks like it’s your turn.”

Xu Pingting was about to suggest that they eat together but the gazes on her were not exactly welcoming. She remembered how cold Jun Yexuan’s attitude was as well and thus picked up her purse and left.

She took two steps, then heard Jun Yexuan say, “Ms. Xu, take away your bottle of perfume. It’s in our way.”

So he was ruthless! How could there be such an annoying man in this world!

Xu Pingting was furious but walked back.

When her gaze met Qi Yusen’s, her heart skipped another beat.

This man isn’t any worse looking than Jun Yexuan and his status in his country is on par with Jun Yexuan’s.

Plus, she’s heard that he was only 29 this year, which meant he was only four years older than she was.

The more important thing was, Qi Yusen never had any bad press about him. He’s had a very clean history.

In comparison, Qi Yusen seemed to be the better choice.

By then, Xu Pingting had already walked up to the table but this time, she went to Qi Yusen’s side.

When she reached for the bottle of perfume, she twisted her foot and crashed down with an “ah!”

To the others, she slipped and hurt her ankle. However, she was headed straight towards Qi Yusen.

Qi Yusen reacted lightning fast. Just as Xu Pingting was about to fall into his arms, his legs shifted around to one side of the seat and he left his seat abruptly.

It was too late for Xu Pingting to dodge the fall now.

With a loud “bang”, Xu Pingting crashed herself into the chair!
