Only after Qi Yusen returned to his seat, did Mu Jinghang start to taunt Jun Yexuan.

“Third brother, you’re so loyal towards brother Qi. I thought you would just laugh at him back there.”

Jun Yexuan kicked him under the table and said in a serious tone, “Ever since my brother said I was the best match for Qingqing, my brother became my idol. He then turned to look at Qi Yusen, “Right, brother?”

Qi Yusen, “… I never said you were the best match. I simply said the other guy was less deserving. Even though you helped me today, I still don’t think you’re good enough for Qingqing.”

Jun Yexuan, “…”

Gong Yi chuckled, “Ah, I feel embarrassed for you.”

Jun Yexuan snapped around his neck and glared at him, “I’m more deserving than you!! What are you being arrogant about?!”

Gong Yi rubbed his nose, “The food is here, eat, eat.”

The others heard this and all picked up their chopsticks.

Mu Jinghang tried a few bites and widened his eyes, “The taste of this dish!!!”

Gong Yi reacted as if he had introduced them to treasure, “Not bad, right? I rarely eat out, but ever since this restaurant opened, I’ve been eating here every day. When it first opened, the food was good but not as good as now. They only recently improved their menu.”

“That’s not what I meant.” Mu Jinghang looked over to Jun Yexuan and Qi Yusen, “Don’t you think this dish tastes like what fifth brother Qi made?”

Jun Yexuan, “It’s basically identical. It used what he cooked as the foundation and spiced it up a little.”

Qi Yusen nodded as well.

Mu Jinghang then said, “Do you think the boss behind Jing Li Xuan is fifth brother Qi?”

Jun Yexuan bit back, “Are you dumb? If the boss behind Jing Li Xuan was Qi Chengyu, why would brother try to buy it out? You think the Qi family is like the Jun family where the families are up against each other?”

Qi Yusen shook his head, “I know all the businesses ran by the Qi’s - this isn’t the fifth’s doing.”

That’s true,” Mu Jinghang then thought of something and yapped, “Gong Yi just said the taste improved recently. If the boss behind it all is the fifth Qi brother, then he wouldn’t have waited this long to teach the chefs his secrets.”

Everyone was silent for a while and finally looked over to Qiao Qing, who hasn’t spoken a single word.

Qiao Qing quietly ate her food and appeared uninviting to questions.

It was as if she wasn’t the one who stole her brother’s recipes and now used them to make money.

After the meal, Jun Yexuan and Qi Yusen brought Qiao Qing back to the office. They only left after Gong Yi left.

When Xu Lu came to the lab and saw all the silhouettes inside, she didn’t dare to enter. Instead, she strolled around the hallway.

This lasted until Qiao Qing was done working that afternoon.

Just as Qiao Qing packed up her stuff and got ready to leave, Xu Lu finally could no longer contain herself and walked in. With an arm stuck out to block Qiao Qing, she said, “You… you… you… hear me out.”

Qiao Qing saw the person in front of her and couldn’t help but frown, “You are?”

Xu Lu, “…”

Xu Lu, “???”

Xu Lu, “!!!”

“You don’t know who I am?!” Xu Lu was tongue-tied.

At once, she decided that Qiao Qing just said that because she was angry from this morning.
