With a cold sneer, he said, “Very well! Since you all have so many opinions, you can all just not work! Right away, give me your resignation letters and get the **** out of here!”

The perfumers became flustered and all circled around.

“CEO Gong, I was wrong. Please, forgive me this once!”

“CEO Gong, I was just angry so I talked too much. Please, I don’t want to lose this job!”

Guo Qingfen remained arrogant, “CEO Gong, the fragrance competition is about to start. If you fire us, who can represent the Gong Corporation? Who can make the new products for this season?”

Gong Yi sneered again, “You’re threatening me?”

Guo Qingfen was a little uncertain with how to respond.

“CEO Gong, I’m not threatening you, I’m only reminding you using facts.”

“You sure have balls.” Gong Yi nodded, “The Gong Corporation can skip the competition. As for the new products, there’s still an entire month left so we can find a new team. Even if we don’t, without new products, the Gong Corporation remains the dominator in country Z. You think I’d care?”

Guo Qingfan’s face turned white and at once, she made a fist.

“So, you better pack up your stuff and get the **** out of here. Don’t make me repeat myself!” Gong Yi shouted impatiently while frowning.

“No! CEO Gong! Please forgive me this once! It took a lot of hard work for me to get into this company! My family depends on me! I can’t lose my job!”

Someone begged Gong YI. She then thought of something and continued, “I was the one who spoke the wrong things. I’ll apologize to Ms. Qiao. If she forgives me, will I be able to stay?”

She then walked up to Qiao Qing and bowed down 90 degrees, “Ms. Qiao! I was wrong! I never should’ve talked behind your back! Please forgive me this once!”

Everyone else watched her and then they too, came up to Qiao Qing to apologize.

“Ms. Qiao, I was wrong!”

“Ms. Qiao, I’m sorry!”

“Ms. Qiao, please ask our CEO to forgive us!”

Xu Lu pouted, “How can some people be so shameless?! You cursed at them and now you’re asking for forgiveness? You think she’s a saint?! Are you even really apologetic? You are only apologizing because you want to keep your job!”

Some perfumers lowered their heads even more.

Gong Yi shouted, “Did nobody hear what I said?! Go to HR and get your last paycheck! Who told you you can stay behind?!”

Some perfumers became hopeless and turned around crestfallen.

Just then, Qiao Qing said, “Wait a minute.”

Some perfumers’ eyes lit up and they regained some hope.

“Is Ms. Qiao going to help us ask for forgiveness?”

“Ms. Qiao, have you forgiven us?”

“Ms. Qiao, you’re a goddess! I’m never going to talk ill behind your back anymore!”

“Thank you, Ms. Qiao!”

Some perfumers shot her grateful looks.

The men, however, exploded.

Gong Yi, “You’re taking their side?!”

Jun Yexuan said, “Qingqing, they said such ugly things about you! Yet you’re going to forgive them?!”

Even Mu Jinghang chimed in, “Sis-in-law, no way? If you’re too kind, you’ll be considered a saint.”

Qi Yusen didn’t speak, but he lightly frowned. He did not at all agree with what she was doing.

In the darkness, Lang Yin sighed. These men sure did not know the lady well enough. They had no idea that her heart was made out of metal.
