Chapter 112
My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball
Chapter 112 I Wonât Pester You After learning the truth, the two boys said goodbye to Mary and went back to their own home.
Mary was disappointed with herself for giving up the truth so easily. Seeing the heartbroken little boys, she hurriedly took a day off work and went to accompany them.
Lucian and Nox were filled with disappointment.
After getting along for some time, they thought that Daddy would not hate them so much.
However, Daddy still asked the kindergarten to expel them.
Maybe they were wrong and Daddy still hated them.
The disappointment was too overwhelming. Nox could not help as his eyes reddened. His little hands grabbed the sofa cover, and his mouth was pursed.
Lucianâs heart was just as sad, but he was calmer than his younger brother.
Seeing that Nox was close to tears, he gently cupped his brotherâs face.
âDonât be sad about that man. He doesnât like us, and we donât have to like him either. Besides, Mommy doesnât seem to want us to know about this. Weâll just pretend we donât know to not worry her.â
Nox sniffed and nodded quietly. Rosalie completed the withdrawal procedures for the two little guys and just came out of kindergarten. At the same time, Byron came to send Estie to school. They both met. Estie pouted, looking very unhappy while being led the way by the man.
The little girlâs eyes lit up as soon as she saw Rosalie, her gaze looked as if she was expecting something Rosalieâs heart softened at the sight of Estie, but when she saw the man beside her, it immediately sank again. The two quickly walked toward her. Estie held Rosalieâs skirt and looked up at her pitifully, eagerly waiting for her to say something Rosalie was silent for a while, then she released her skirt from the little girlâs hand. She took two steps back to create a distance between them. âLucian and Nox will not be here in the future, so you mustâ¦
take care of yourself and try to get along with other children.â
The light in the little girlâs eyes slowly disappeared from what she said. Rosalie could not bear but look away. She forced herself and said calmly, âI have to work I need to go now.â
She finished speaking and was about to walk past them. As she walked past the man, his big hands grabbed her wrist. Rosalie stopped abruptly and turned back to meet the manâs gaze with a blank face.
âIs there anything else, President Lawrence?â
Byron furrowed his brows. âYouâve greatly misunderstood. I never intended to expel those two children.â
Hearing this, Rosalie said sarcastically, âIf you still wish to defend yourself, I donât mind listening to what you have to say. Whose fault is it this time?â
Byron did not mind her tone and replied earnestly, âI got Luther to investigate this matter. It turns out that Wendy made the decision without authorization. Due to my previous order, the principal mistakenly thought I acquiescedâ¦â
Speaking of this, Byron felt embarrassed.
After learning about this last night, he was even more regretful about his thoughts. If it were * not for what he said before, the principal would not have misunderstood.
He wanted to right the situation, so he came over this morning to the school. He did not expect to meet this woman here. Rosalieâs expression became even more sarcastic after hearing his explanation. âSo, this was Wendy Fullerâs idea? Isnât that your idea too? Is there anyone in Coast City who doesnât know about the marriage union between the Fuller and Lawrence families? Now, you want to disassociate from her. Arenât you afraid that your future wife will be sad when she finds out?â
Rosalie pulled back her hand fiercely and said coldly, âDonât worry, President Lawrence. Iâm not shameless, and I wonât pester you. You donât have to explain anything.â
After speaking, she left without looking back.
Byronâs face sank as he watched her leave.
Estie was stunned for a few seconds as tears poured out of her eyes uncontrollably. She hurriedly shook off Daddyâs hand and ran behind Rosalieâs car. She had a feeling that after the beautiful lady left this time, she might never see her again. Thinking of this, Estie was very uneasy, and her eyes were full of panic. In her panic and unstable steps, Estie stepped on a loose stone and fell to the ground.
