Chapter 1705 Almost Lost Her
My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball
Rosalie looked at the kidsâ worried expressions and felt sad. She looked away, trying not to cry.
âI asked Uncle Luther to bring you here because I donât want you to be worried. You can rest assured since youâve seen that Iâm just fine. If you stay back and get a fever, Iâll be worried.â
Nox was reluctant to leave.
Lucian spoke out, âLetâs go back. Mommy, please take good care of yourself.â
Nox and Estelle said nothing more no matter how reluctant they were since their eldest brother had decided.
Rosalie felt relieved and smiled as she nodded. âOkay. Iâll take good care of myself and go back home soon.â
âDonât forget to answer our calls!â Lucian stated his condition.
Rosalie knew the kids were worried sick about her since they had lost contact with her for two days.
She felt terrible and agreed readily.
Getting her promise made the kids feel more at ease, and she gave in. They reluctantly let go of her hands.
Rosalie did not dare to look at them. She quickly diverted her gaze to Byron. âByron, why donât you drive them back?â
She was afraid she might cry if the little ones stayed here any longer.
Actually, she had to be by the kidsâ side because they were sad.
However, she could not get discharged that night. Thus, she could only let Byron take care of them.
Byron also feared the kids finding out what had happened to Rosalie when he saw the kidsâ reaction.
However, he adjusted his mood and nodded upon hearing Rosalieâs voice.
âDaddy will take good care of Mommy. You kids will be doing us a great favor by being obedient at home.â
He touched the little onesâ heads and carried Estelle. Then, he stretched out his hands toward Nox and Lucian.
Nox held his hand while Lucian held his brotherâs hand obediently.
Then, the kids turned around and looked at Rosalie again.
Rosalie smiled as she waved them goodbye. She felt like crying, but she held back her tears.
She had almost lost her life and the chance to watch them growâ¦
Looking at Byron and the kids leaving made Rosalie more determined to cure herself.
She had to do it, even if it was for the sake of the kids.
The little ones finally had their parents, and she did not want them to lose their mother.
Meanwhile, Byron took the kids to his car and headed to the manor.
On the way, the children sobbed, and the atmosphere in the car was gloomy.
Byron glanced at the kids through the rearview mirror and found that their eyes were red. It broke his heart to see that.
âI promised you that Iâll take good care of Mommy.â
He promised the kids.
Nox sniffled and said in his cute but hoarse voice, âOkay. We believe in Daddy. Daddy always took good care of Mommy whenever she was ill.â
Their daddy had accompanied their mommy the last few times she was ill, and their mommy had made it through each time.
This time would be the same!
Byron felt a complicated feeling rising him upon hearing the kidsâ words of trust. He smiled and said, âOf course.â
If the kids knew Rosalie had almost died because of him, they might not trust him like thisâ¦
Byron promised them everything they asked for heavy-heartedly.
He looked at the kids through the rearview mirror when he noticed that their voices were getting softer.
All the crying seemed to have exhausted them, and the triplets had fallen asleep.
