Chapter 1763 Another Round
My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball
Rosalie quipped when she heard Mary said that, âAre you sure you want to treat us to dinner with Byron around?â
She knew her best friend well. Her best friend would never give up any chance to take advantage of Byron.
However, Mary rejected decisively this time. âI can get him to pay the next time. This time is on me.
President Lawrence will have to wait for the next time to pay.â
Rosalie laughed. âAlright. Dinner is on you.â
Mary said, âIâll send you the location in a while. Letâs meet at the restaurant.â
They hung up the call after that.
Rosalie looked at Byron. âMary said she's buying us dinner tonight and asked us to bring the kids along.â
Byron agreed and went to pick the little ones up.
The little ones had not seen their mommy since they returned home last night.
The little ones were excited to finally see their mommy back in good health.
âMommy! You're back!â
Smiling, Rosalie crouched and hugged the three kids as they rushed toward her. She listened patiently to what they were saying.
After chatting with them for a while, she said softly, âCome on. I'll change your clothes. Your godmother is taking us out for dinner tonight.â
The little ones were excited to hear their godmother wanted to take them out for dinner. âHooray!â
The family of five had reunited, and their mommy had been cured. They could even have a meal with their godmother tonight.
For the little ones, there was nothing better than having their dearest family by their side.
Rosalieâs smile never faded since seeing the kids and seeing them so happy.
Mary sent them the location.
Rosalie and Byron drove to the venue with the kids.
Everyone took their seats in the private room.
The waiter brought the dishes to the table as soon as they were seated. All the dishes were the kidsâ
favorites.
âThank you,â Rosalie thanked Mary. âIâm sorry for worrying you these few days.â
Mary looked at her best friend and lamented as her smile faded. âI was indeed worried. Fortunately, you're fine now. Thatâs the best thing that can happen.â
Then, she glanced at Byron and said to Rosalie, âPresident Lawrence had a difficult time. At least I had a few hours of sleep, but President Lawrence has been awake for days.â
Rosalie also looked at Byron, and her eyes met his.
They looked at each other affectionately.
Everyone was in a good mood since Rosalie had recovered. Thus, they enjoyed the meal.
Mary kept muttering about how Xander deserved it and praised Byron. She almost wanted to tell her best friend not to let go of such a good man.
The three little ones nodded as they listened.
Byron was delighted. Before Mary could get the bill, he already paid for everything.
Mary was still unhappy that she did not get to pay for the meal when they left the restaurant. She quickly dragged Rosalie to a corner when she saw that Rosalie was about to leave with Byron.
âI havenât treated Rosie yet! President Lawrence, you can drive the kids back. Rosie and I are going for another round.â
