Chapter 26
My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball
She Canât Wait Any Longer âIncrease by two points?â
Yves was stunned. âPresident Fuller, did we not already settle this before? Why do you wish to increase the price suddenly now that weâre about to sign the partnership?â Seeing his surprised appearance, Wendy crossed her legs comfortably and said in a leisurely voice, âIndeed, we had agreed prior, but the prices in the medicinal materials market have overall gone up this year. If we signed the contract with you with the originally agreedâupon price, we will lose too much. I hope Dr. Graham understands.â
This was said in a sanctimonious manner.
Yvesâs expression froze slightly. He wanted to say something, but Rosalie stopped him. âI think Miss Fuller had a sudden urge to raise the prices because she saw me. I know the prices in the medicinal materials market like the back of my hand. If you want to raise prices, we can discuss it but itâs unreasonable to raise it by two points at this time.â Rosalie wanted to be professional but the other obviously wanted to make things difficult. She had no need to tolerate it either.
Hearing this, Wendy frowned unhappily and said coldly, âNo matter the reason, we are now at this price. If you find it inappropriate, our family will be just fine without your business.â
âIn that case, today would have been for nothing. Even if we cooperated with a flipâflopping company like Fuller Industries, we would not feel at ease,â replied Rosalie coldly. With that, Rosalie stood up and said to Yves, âLetâs go.â Yves nodded and the two left the coffee shop. âDo you have some history with Wendy Fuller?â Yves could not help asking after they left. He could feel Wendyâs hostility toward Rosalie clearly when they were discussing their partnership just now.
Rosalie did not want to recall what happened back in those years and simply replied, âI suppose so.â
Seeing that she did not want to talk about it anymore. Yves ceased his questioning. Instead, he talked about the matter with the medicinal material supplier. âWe will have to look for a new supplier again if we arenât going to sign with Fuller Industries.â Rosalie nodded. âAnd weâll do that, Coast City is huge.
Besides Fuller, there are always other suppliers who are willing to sign with us.â
âAlright.â Yves smiled and nodded.
He was more unwilling to see Rosalie targeted than to look for another medicinal material supplier again.
In the cafe, after Rosalie left, Wendyâs expression was still cold as she instructed Carl, âGo send a message to all the medicinal material suppliers in Coast City immediately. Anyone who dares sign with Virus Research Institute will be an enemy of the Fullers!â Carl was not aware of the history between his lady and Dr. Jacobs from before. However, he could clearly feel how frighteningly low the pressure surrounding his lady was since he saw Dr. Jacobs. Hearing Wendyâs tone, at this moment, he trembled even more. Not daring to delay even for a moment, he replied. âYes, Iâll do it now.â With that, he got up and left. At that moment, only Wendy was left sitting at the coffee shop alone. Recalling Byronâs attitude that morning as well as the sharp imposition from Rosalie just now, Wendyâs mind was a flurry.
It did not matter if Byron had rejected her because of Rosalie, those two indeed had a period of marriage between them. She still could not get a hold of Byronâs attitude toward that woman.
If this were to drag on any longer, she dared not imagine what would happen. She could not let things go on like this!
Lawrence Corporation. âMaster, I have information about the man that Miss Jacobs was with last night.â
Luther entered and stood respectfully in front of Byron.
