Chapter 499 Long Time No See Miss Leigh Ann was already waiting at the school gate.

Seeing Rosalie bringing the boys over, Miss Leigh Ann smiled and greeted, “Miss Jacobs, long time no see.”

Rosalie smiled politely. “I’ve been busy with work recently, did Lucian and Nox give you any trouble?”

Considering the boys’ abnormal behavior this morning, Rosalie could only think that it was because they did something wrong at school and were afraid that she would find out about it.

Unexpectedly, Miss Leigh Ann shook her head. “They have always been very good. Not only do they not cause trouble, but they even help me take care of other children sometimes. I would like to thank you for raising such sensible little boys.”

Rosalie pursed her lips and smiled, she looked down at the boys beside her, her heart filled with doubts.

The boys opened their eyes wide and looked at her innocently.

Rosalie subconsciously turned around and looked over, only to see Estie dressed in a cute princess dress with her hair permed into woolly curls. Her fat, little baby face was red as she ran toward her on short legs.

Seeing the little girl’s hair, Rosalie could not help but freeze for a moment before subconsciously leaning over to catch the little girl. She hesitantly asked her, “Estelle, what happened to your hair?”

She remembered the little girl having straight hair, who would perm such a young girl’s hair?

Estie pulled her hair and said innocently, “Grandma. Grandma said that princesses have curly hair!”

Melody also knew about the kindergarten’s anniversary celebration along with the fact that the little girl will be in a stage play. Spirits high, she gave the little girl a perm.

Byron was too lazy to argue with her over such trivial matters, so he let her go.

Hearing the little girl mention Melody, Rosalie’s heart sank slightly. She stood up calmly and took a step back to distance herself from the little girl.

Estie noticed Rosalie’s estrangement and tilted her head in confusion. There was also some disappointment on her little face.

Rosalie felt a slight tingling in her heart, but she still steeled her heart and said nothing else.

Suddenly thinking of something, Rosalie looked up and glanced behind the little girl.

Sure enough, she saw Byron who was making his way over here.

The man was wearing an expensive, haute couture suit as he walked over to them with a ramrod posture. His eyes fell heavily on her and Estie.

“Miss Jacobs, it’s been a while.” Byron greeted meaningfully. He grabbed Estie’s little hand and walked up to Rosalie’s side.

Hearing the man’s voice, Rosalie’s heart constricted slightly, and her mind fell into chaos. The scene from before of her parting from the man on bad terms and the intimate scene from sleeping Beauty appeared in her mind alternately.

For a moment, Rosalie did not know how to face the man beside her.
