Chapter 538
My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball
Chapter 538 Donât Want The Atmosphere To Be Too Tense Byron knew that Rosalie was feeling uncomfortable because of his presence, so after entering the suite, he sat quietly on the sofa and read his messages.
Rosalie played with the children for a while when a knock suddenly came from the door.
Hearing movement, Rosalie went over and opened the door.
There were two servers at the door who were pushing a dining cart. There was another man standing at the side who looked like a foreman. He was looking at her respectfully.
Seeing this, Rosalie could not help finding it strange. She subconsciously looked at the man on the sofa.
She recalled that they had not ordered anythingâ¦
âHello, Iâm the hotelâs manager. This is the lunch thatâs included in your coupons. I wish you a happy meal.â The manager looked at Rosalie with a smile.
Only then did Rosalie understand, she thanked the man politely and allowed the servers to bring the food in.
While waiting for the servers to set up their meal, Rosalie called the children over to eat.
Byron was still sitting on the sofa, reading his messages with a blank expression.
Rosalie had hesitated for a bit, but she finally came over and told him, âPresident Lawrence, letâs have lunch together.â 1 Hearing this, the man raised his head leisurely. He got up noncommittally and sat beside Estie.
With only Estie between them, Rosalie could not help but feel a little awkward.
However, thinking about them coming out this time to have fun with the children, Rosalie did not want to dampen their spirits, she could only suppress the strangeness she felt in her heart and watch over the children as they ate.
âAuntie, eat.â Estie clumsily picked up some food for her as well as Byron while smiling innocently.
Seeing the little girlâs enthusiastic expression, Rosalie could not help but smile. âThank you, Estie, but you shouldnât mind me. Itâs better if you eat more yourself.â
The little girlâs body has always been weak, so Rosalie was very worried.
Hearing Auntieâs words, the little girl nodded obediently and smiled innocently. âIâll eat. Auntie, you eat too!â
Rosalie smiled and patted the childâs head.
The two children at the side followed suit and served their mommy and Estie some food. They also pretended to be more mature and said to Estie, â Children must eat more to grow taller!â
The little girl nodded obediently.
The atmosphere between the four of them was harmonious and happy, but to the side, Byron was like an outsider with no one minding him.
Rosalie noticed the manâs silence and hesitated for a moment before serving Byron some food. âThank you for bringing US here this morning, President Lawrence.â
Since they had come out to have fun together, Rosalie did not want to make the atmosphere too stiff.
As he saw the hand withdraw in front of him, there was a wave of emotion in Byronâs eyes. He looked up and said to Rosalie, âItâs nothing. Iâd like to thank you for agreeing to share this suite with US.
Otherwise, Iâm afraid Estie wouldâve been disappointed again.â
The little girl nodded cooperatively.
Rosalie smiled indifferently and did not answer.
Lucian and Nox were staring at their mommy and daddy, confused.
Did Mommy not dislike Daddy? Why did she still take the initiative to serve Daddy food? Moreover, looking at how they were acting now, it was as if their mommyâs previous rejection of Daddy had been an illusion.
The children looked at each other and hesitantly followed their mommyâs actions in serving Byron some food. After giving him some food, they quickly withdrew their gaze but still carefully peeked at their daddy from the corners of their eyes.
Seeing the childrenâs actions, Byron raised a brow in surprise and said, âThankyou for the food.â
