Chapter 65
My Ex-Wife and Kids Came In Like A Wrecking Ball
Chapter 65 She Has Some Consequences To Face Rosalie was not familiar with the restaurants nearby, so she specifically asked Mary to recommend one before taking the boys there directly. Andrius sent a message during dinner.
[Dr. Jacobs, will you be administering treatment tonight?]
Rosalie then recalled that she had not explained the treatment process to him clearly and replied: [The old master is still a little weak, so the treatment canât be too frequent. He was treated two days in a row before, so let him rest for one day and Iâll go over tomorrow. I apologize for forgetting to tell you.]
[Alright, Iâll be waiting for you anytime.] Andrius replied quickly. Seeing that their mommy was still sending messages while eating, the boys asked curiously,â Mommy, whatâs the matter?â
Rosalie smiled and picked up some vegetables for them. âItâs nothing. My patient from before is asking me if Iâll be heading over.â
Hearing this, the boys nodded sensibly. They each also gave their mommy some vegetables.â Mommy is working hard, so she needs to eat more.â
Seeing the two so sensible, Rosalieâs heart softened a little.
Their meal was filled with joy.
After dinner, Rosalie brought the two little ones along to go pay the bill.
The moment she got to the counter, she met two individuals who were coming in headâon.
Wendy and Andrea were holding each otherâs arms intimately and had walked toward the restaurant while engaged in joyous conversation.
Rosalie could not help herself from slowing down. She looked around the surrounding environment, wanting to blend into the crowd to avoid them. These two always seemed to be against her, after all.
Wendy had been nursing her anger at her for a long time and did not even hesitate to unite the many medicinal materials suppliers in Coast City to boycott her research institute.
Although Andrea just did not respect her medical knowledge, she had mocked her again and again.
Looking at these two together, however, it was very obvious that they had a good relationship. Rosalie had no doubt that Andrea would stand together with Wendy. If it were any other usual situation, Rosalie might walk directly in front of them and pretend they did not exist.
However, she had the boys with her and did not want to get into an argument with them in front of her children.
Just as she was about to take the boys around, Andreaâs strangeâsounding voice came from the distance.
âOh, Dr. Jacobs. What a coincidence. Were you also dining here?â Rosalie frowned slightly, not wanting to pay attention to them. The boys thought their mommy had not heard her and pulled her sleeve.
âMommy, someone called you.â Rosalie could only then stop to turn around and meet Andreaâs eyes calmly.
âTruly, itâs such a coincidence. But Iâve already finished eating, so I wonât disturb you. Iâll be leaving first.â
After saying that, she planned to take the boys past them to the checkout counter. Wendy frowned and asked Andrea, âYou two know each other?â
Andrea nodded. She glanced at the three of them who were just about to come up to them and said dismissively, âDonât say it like that. Iâm so out of Dr. Jacobsâ league with how impressive her medical skills are. So many people were powerless about my grandfatherâs condition, yet it took Dr. Jacobs only a few needles before my grandfather woke up. Dr. Jacobs is now a guest of honor in my brotherâs eyes.
Her status is much higher than mine.â Hearing this, Wendyâs expression changed.
âWhat did you say? Why did you invite her to treat Old Man Quirke?â Andrea sneered, âWe werenât the ones who invited her. She was the one who came to our house. As for the reason, I think itâs likely because she set her eyes on our familyâs medicinal material supply. After all, my brother signed the contract with them after my grandfather just woke up.â
With that, she glared at Rosalie unhappily.
âShe didnât even take a second to think about things and immediately agreed the moment my brother brought it up. Now, the contract has been signed. If anything were to happen to my grandfather in the future, sheâll have to bear the consequences!â
