Xander stood at the door of the villa with his assistant, and when he saw Rosalie’s expression, his eyebrows twitched slightly. “It seems that I came at the wrong time?”

Rosalie suppressed the strange feeling in her heart and smiled at him as if nothing had happened. “No, I just came back as well.”

Xander nodded slightly. His eyes swept over her and stopped at the two little boys.

As they looked at the man with scrutiny, the little boys pursed their mouths vigilantly but still greeted politely, “Hello, Uncle Xander.”

Xander nodded to them, then turned to Rosalie. “The children look much better now.”

Hearing this, Rosalie could not help but be stunned for a few seconds. After a while, she remembered that the boys had pretended to be sick when they left in the morning.

She totally forgot about it because of Estie When Xander mentioned it now, Rosalie subconsciously looked back at the two little boys.

The little boys nodded obediently. “Thank you, Uncle Xander, for your concern. We’ve taken the medicine, so we’re already much better.”

Rosalie changed the subject with some guilty conscience. “Young Master Xander, you came here specially. How can I help you?” Xander smiled noncommittally as he turned toward his car in the distance and nudged with his chin. “The medicine you want is ready. You can check it out.”

Rosalie agreed and followed him to check the medicine.

“Thankfully, we went there earlier.”

When she checked the medicine, Xander smiled. “As soon as you left the front door, Heronial Corporation was seized right after. If we had been one step later, I’m afraid everything would’ve been lost.”

Rosalie pursed her lips and smiled, thoughts of Estie still swirling in her heart.

‘It was because I wanted to get these medicines that I didn’t get to the little girl in time.’

Thinking of this, Rosalie’s eyes darkened, and the efficiency of her inspection slowed down.

Xander noticed her strange behavior and raised his eyebrows scrutinizingly.

The reason why he made a special trip here was that he was curious as to what had made this woman leave in such a hurry.

Before he came, he only thought it was because of the two little boys in her home.

“That’s all for now. I’m sorry to bother you, Young Master Xander. ” Rosalie looked back and nodded gratefully to Xander after the inspection.

Xander calmly took his eyes away from her. “It’s fine. I was worried that it’d affect your research.”

After speaking, his eyes swept across Rosalie again and fell on the two little ones behind Rosalie.

‘I don’t know if it’s just me, but from the first time we met, these two little boys seem to have been a little wary of me.

‘It’s as if I would snatch something from them.’

“Mommy!”

Upon meeting Xander’s gaze, the little boys immediately went to Rosalie’s side vigilantly, for fear that their mother would leave with him again.

Rosalie looked down in confusion, only to see that the little boys had grabbed the hem of her skirt on both sides.
