Chapter 55
Daddy’s Doting Addiction
Chapter 55
A middle-aged man at the front row stood up and announced solemnly, âI am the general manager of
West City Hotel. I would like to formally announce the three of you will be banned from our hotel. This
includes any hotel under our brand.â
âNow, please leave!â
As soon as the middle-aged man finished speaking, several security guards immediately came over to
escort Scott, Clarissa, and Lilian away. There was a burst of teasing laughter from the crowd.
âHmph! Iâve never heard of any hotel that chases away their customers. Donât worry, I will never come to
a hotel like yours again!â
Scott flushed with great shame. He could only pretend to issue a warning. Then, in embarrassment, he
left the venue with Lilian and Clarissa away.
Back at the Green family home, Scott pointed at Lilian and Clarissa and scolded them angrily.
âBoth of you are embarrassing! Iâve never felt so much shame in my whole life!â
After Scott was done scolding them, he got into the car and left without a care for the mother or daughter.
Lilian looked aggrieved and stomped her feet in anger.
âItâs all that little bitch Naomiâs fault!â
âMom, is Dad annoyed with us?â
Clarissa asked worriedly.
Lilian suppressed her anger and comforted her daughter.
âHeâs just angry! Your dad will allow you to work in his company once you are admitted into the Royal
Medical School. Youâll eventually inherit the Green Corp. By then, that b*tch Naomi can do anything but
cry!â
Lilianâs eyes flashed viciously at her last sentence.
âI heard that Jackâs mother strongly disliked Naomi. She demanded Naomi get into a reputable college.
Otherwise, Naomi would never be accepted into the family. Naomi would lose everything by then.
Eventually, Youâll have the last laugh!â
âYeah! Iâm confident about getting admitted into the Royal Medical School!â
Clarissaâs eyes were smug. She had stolen Naomiâs thesis and had successfully caught the Royal
Medical Schoolâs attention.
Meanwhile, Naomi had failed in too many subjects at school. She would not be able to join the
assessment test, let alone any collegeâs entrance exam!
By then, Clarissa would be the brightest and prettiest student at school. Soon, Jack would belong to her
a s well!
âWeâre so close to winning today!â
Lilian sighed in anger and regret.
âMom, donât worry, I still have an ace card up my sleevelâ Clarissa took her phone out and called an
overseas number. Soon, a lazy and gloomy female voice could be heard from the phone.
âHello?â
âJeanne, please save me! That little bitch Naomi almost ruined me!â
Jeanne Morgan was born with a gold spoon in her mouth. She was the daughter of one of Gin Cityâs top
four most influential families.
She hated Naomi as much as Clarissa did. That was how they had become best friends.
âLeave it to me. Itâs such a small matter. Iâll settle it for you.â
Clarissa was relieved to hear Jeanneâs answer.
She batted her eyes and said, âDear, thank you so much! We wouldnât have to be separated if it wasnât
for Naomi back then! How dare she force you to leave!â Clarissaâs voice was pretentious and fake.
As she expected, Jeanneâs tone immediately turned furious.
âHmph! Iâll make this little bitch pay for what she has done, soon!â
Clarissa was so happy to hear that, and she almost jumped with joy.
âAre you coming back soon? Thatâs great!â
âAh-choo!â
The crowd gradually left the hall. Naomi sneezed heavily
Lucy said she had something to discuss with her, so she stayed back.
âWhatâs wrong? Did you catch a cold?â
Lucy walked over and worriedly put her hands on Naomiâs shoulder.
âIâm fine. Maybe someone is talking about me behind my back.â
Naomi shook her head as she made the joke. Lucy burst out laughing.
âWell, they deserved it!â
Lucy suddenly recalled something as she spoke of them, and she furrowed her brows.
âIâve never thought that your dad wouldâve changed so much in less than ten years. Itâs like⦠Itâs like
heâs a n entirely different person!â
Naomiâs brow twitched heavily at Lucyâs last sentence.
âLucy, what do you mean?â
âBack then, when Cezanneâs president gave the Ocean Star to your mom, your dad was there too. But
looking back today, it seems like heâs completely unaware of that⦠Somehow, I canât help but feel like
someone else is impersonating Scott.â âPerhaps he just doesnât care about my mom anymore and has
forgotten about it.â
