Chapter 76
Daddy’s Doting Addiction
Chapter 76 Jack had just slicked his hair back when he froze and snapped coldly, âNo!â Why should he
go after someone who did not care about him?
For all he knew, Naomi was somewhere out there having the time of her life!
Sean was so taken aback by Jackâs response that he shut his mouth and did not dare to speak another
word.
At that moment, the phone sitting on the coffee table started ringing. Sean quickly picked it up and
passed the phone to Jack. âThe Messer familyâs youngest daughter, Susan Messer, is calling. Sheâs
Miss Naomiâs best friend,â added Sean.
Jackâs thumb hovered over the reject button on the phone screen. He pondered for a few seconds, then
picked up the call with an annoyed expression on his face. âHello?â âIâm sorry for calling so late, Mister
Hough. Is Naomi home? She wonât pick up my calls, and Iâm very worried!â Susanâs frantic voice came
through the phone. âIsnât she with you?â Jack asked curtly as his eyes turned ice cold. âSheâs not! She
was told to go to the Green Mansion today. Iâve been trying to reach her since this afternoon, but my
calls wonât go through! Iâm worried that somethingâs happened to her...
Jackâs brows furrowed upon hearing Susanâs words, and his face turned murderous.
âSean!â
âYes, sir! Iâll investigate immediately!â
Thunder rumbled, and lightning struck as the entire city shook in a raging storm. A black Mayerbach
raced along the provincial roads leading to the cityâs outskirts, speeding through the darkness of the
night and leaving behind a trail of mist.
âAccording to the surveillance cameras in the area, Miss Naomi was abducted around noon! Itâs been
over six hours since then. What if...â Sean blurted, but he stopped himself as he did not dare to continue
his words.
They were dealing with an outlaw who was arrested for multiple murders. Naomi had been in his
clutches for a while, and the odds were against her! âSheâll be fine!â Jack replied as he stared into the
darkness outside the car window. His voice, however, gave away a hint of uncertainty.
At the warehouse, Naomi was putting on an act. âI give up! I beg of you, please untie me. Itâd be easier
for me to please you that way.â She was pretending to beg the redâheaded man while she secretly tried
to pull out the silver needle hidden in the sleeve of her shirt with her fingers.
She got it! As the redâheaded man began to go soft on her, one of the other men immediately stopped
him. âNo way! This womanâs too cunning. Donât fall for it!â. âMy whole body feels weak right now.
Besides, I canât do anything for you if youâve got me tied up like this. I canât believe youâre actually afraid
of me. Are you really men?â Naomiâs mocking tone angered the redâheaded man. âIâll show you how
manly I can be!â he said, then untied the rope around Naomiâs wrist.
His eyes widened when he saw the silver needle in her hand! âYou!â
âGo to hell!â Naomi exclaimed, then swiftly poked the needle into the pressure points at the manâs neck,
sending him straight to the ground. âGet her!â Seeing the situation in front of their eyes, the other men
charged at her.
Naomi snapped the ropes that bound her with a violent yank and sent one of the men flying to the other
side of the room with a strong kick! The other men were dumbfounded. She had used the silver needle
on a few pressure points that could significantly increase her strength for ten minutes! âYouâre done for!â
Naomi yelled as she threw a chilling glare over the group of men. It was as if she came from the very
depths of hell.
The men looked around at each other, then charged at her with a raging fury. âLetâs go! Kill her!â
