Chapter 84
Daddy’s Doting Addiction
Chapter 84 Annoyance flashed over Jackâs face. âIâll change then.â
He was about to take off his hoodie when the salesperson interrupted him. âIâm sorry, sir. Thatâs the only
piece we have left in your size.â
As the salesperson apologetically explained the situation, Sean had to fight the urge to give her a
massive bear hug.
Jack and Naomi were left speechless. âCome on! I already paid for it. Thereâs no point wasting it!â Sean
exclaimed as he held up the receipt. At that moment, a flash came through the storeâs entrance and
vanished as soon as it appeared.
It was the Quinn familyâs spies again! When Jack and Naomi both noticed it, they decided to give in.
They had to stay true to their contract and behave as a loving couple in front of others. âLet me take a
picture of you two!â
Jack and Naomi stood in front of the parkâs entrance. They stood far apart from each other as usual, and
the expressions on their faces were unhappy as usual. When old Mister Hough received the photo, he
could not help but burst into laughter. âIf they werenât wearing matching outfits, I would have thought that
they were enemies!â âWhy did you make them go to the amusement park of all places? It doesnât seem
like a place that matches their personalities,â asked Smith as he could no longer hold back his curiosity.
Old Mister Hough grinned cheekily and said, âYou wouldnât know! Amusement parks are a paradise for
lovers. Sparks will fly no matter what couple walks in!â The old manâs tone turned somber as he finished
his trail of thought.
In the photo, he felt like he was looking at his younger self, standing side by side with the woman he
loved.
There were indeed sparks between Jack and Naomi, but it was definitely not the same kind of spark that
Old Mister Hough had in mind.
Naomi goaded Jack as they stood in line for the Pirate Ship ride. âLetâs make a bet. Whoever screams
first buys the other ice cream!â
âI like coffeeâflavored ice cream,â Jack responded as he accepted the challenge with raised brows.
Five minutes later, Naomi held on to Jack for dear life while screaming her lungs out on the Pirate Ship
ride.
Jack stood in front of the roller coaster ride with an ice cream cone in his hand and stared smugly at
Naomi. âDo you want to make another bet?â
âOf course! Weâll take selfies this time. Whoeverâs photo comes out the blurriest will...â Naomi racked her
brain to figure out a winning plan. She had to get back her pride! She noticed a headband with a pair of
cat ears at a nearby stall and immediately said,â Whoever loses will wear these!â âYouâre on,â Jack
replied confidently. He pointed at a headband with a pair of leopardâprinted cat ears and added slyly,
âLetâs go with this one.â
Ten minutes later, the arrogant Prince of Gin City stood wearing a pair of leopardâprint cat ears that did
not quite match his character. He looked like the perfect mixture of cuteness and toughness.
âYou look adorable, old man,â Naomi teased. She held back her laughter and raised her thumbs at him
as she saw the people around them try to sneak photos of Jack. âAgain!â Jack snapped with a miserable
expression on his face. Naomi openly snapped a photo of the catâeared prince and shot him a dazzling
smile. âMy pleasure!â
It felt amazing to win! Just like that, Old Mister Hough received a pair of bizarre photos, but he had yet to
see a sweet photo of the couple. âItâs time to give up, sir,â Smith said dejectedly. âWait and see. I still
have a master plan,â said Old Mister Hough as he scrolled through the photos with a mischievous grin on
his face. What exactly did the old man have up his sleeve?
