Alpha 220
Taking Alpha's Twins Away After Divorce
âMax is here?â I asked and dashed to the door.
âNat-â
I turned my head to Liana and said,
âThatâs an important person. âI need to see him.â
When she gave me a nod, I left the changing room.
I looked around and found Max sitting at a table next to the window.
I walked over to him and stood beside his table.
âMax.â
He was using his phone. He lifted his head to look at me.
âNatalia, can we talk?â
I thought he would talk about my brother. So I was about to say yes, but then my gaze lowered to
my apron.
âActually, Iâm on duty now. Is it something about my brother?â
His gaze shifted to my apron. He thought for a moment, then said,
âItâs okay. I can wait until you are done.â
I was surprised by his soft tone. I could not make him wait for the whole day just to talk to me. It was
me who needed him. My brother was sick, not his.
I looked over and noticed Liana staring at me from the counter.
Her eyebrows went up, wanting to know what had happened.
âI am in the mood for some mocha. Can you make it for me?â
I heard Max. I gave him a head nod as I turned to face him.
âSure.â
As I returned to the counter, I noticed other waitresses were glancing at Max. He was quite
handsome, and I couldnât deny it either.
âWho is she, Miss Natalia?â A waitress behind the counter asked.
âDoctor Max.â
âYour boyfriend?â
I was stunned by her question.
âNo,â I said as I moved behind the counter.
I started to make mocha for Max. I noticed Liana was silent.
âI am sorry I couldnât hear you at that time. You were saying something.â
âNothing. Is he someone close to you?â Liana asked me while pointing his head at
Max.
âHe is Doctor Max Harrison.â
âThe doctor, Max Harrison, the healer?â she asked with shocked eyes.
Inodded at her. She let out a sigh and whispered in a low tone,
âHow can I not expect our exâluna to be acquainted with big people?â
Her words left me speechless. âDid she just call me exâLuna?â
I shrugged my shoulders and poured the coffee into the mug, then placed it on a tray.
I was about to walk to the table but stopped and turned to Liana.
âIs it fine if I can talk to him for five minutes? I promise not to do that again during my duty time.â
âHave I ever stopped you from anything, Natalia? I have always said you reminded me of my
daughter. I even left my shop in your hands every day.â
I gave her a smile. This woman was an incredibly nice person. Suddenly, I felt relieved that Adrian
did not cancel her shopâs order. It would greatly benefit her shop.
âThanks, Liana.â
I
walked over to Maxâs table and set down the tray.
âHere is your coffee.â
âI would appreciate it if a beautiful lady accompanied me.
I could not help but chuckle at his words. âOkay, then let me find a beautiful lady
waitress for you.
But I paused when he spoke again..
âI meant the most beautiful woman in this shop, or, I can say, the most beautiful woman in this
pack.â
