Chapter 1268
My Wife is a Hacker
The next morning, Harvey was already done packing as he waited for Nicole and Kelly in the morning.
Harvey waited in his room for a very long time, but no one had bothered to knock on his door. âIs Kelly not awake as well? They said that the flight was eight in the morning last night.â
Harvey then looked at the time. It was already half past six in the morning, but Nicole and Kelly were nowhere to be found.
Harvey left his room and went over to Nicoleâs room before knocking on the door, and as expected, nobody answered the door, even after a long time. âIs she still sleeping? Iâll just head over to Kellyâs room, then.â
He went over to Kellyâs room and knocked on it. After a while, the door opened, revealing Kelly who was garbed in neat clothing, showing that she was already done preparing.
âKelly, letâs have breakfast in 5 minutes,â Harvey said.
âSure, Harvey. Did you just come from Miss Riddleâs room?â Kelly blinked at him.
âYeah, why?â Harvey frowned. âIs something wrong?â
âIs Miss Riddle awake?â
âI donât think so. Since youâre here, you should wake her up.â Harvey said.
He could not enter her room, but if he could, he would have already barged moments ago.
âOkay, on it,â Kelly said.
âM-hm, Iâll be waiting for you in the restaurant upstairs,â Harvey said and made his way to the dining area a floor above.
Kelly closed her door and knocked on Nicoleâs. After some time, Nicole opened the door to see Kelly standing outside. âGood morning.â
âGood morning, Miss Riddle.â Kelly followed her into the room after closing her door.
âWhy are you up so early?â Nicole asked as she took a seat on the couch.
à donât think Iâm early. Harvey is already waiting for US in the restaurant.â Kelly said, before she proceeded to tell Nicole about her conversation with Harvey.
âHarvey sure is excited to return home,â Nicole said, making fun of him. â Go ahead and meet him first, Kelly. Iâll see you in a bit.â
âSure, bye for now.â Kelly turned around and left Nicoleâs room, having done what she came here to do.
In the dining area, Harvey was seen drinking his coffee leisurely; he was in a good mood. âWhen Nicole returns home, she wonât be spending as much time with me already. Strangely, why do I not feel worried anymore?â
Indeed, Harvey was confused, but he was also feeling a sense of relief.
He placed his coffee down, and the moment he saw Kelly walking in on her own, he creased his forehead and waited for Kelly to take a seat in front of him before asking, âWhy are you alone? Whereâs Nicole?â
âShe said sheâll be here in a bit,â Kelly replied as she picked the menu up.
Harvey gave her a light nod before taking another sip of his coffee.
âWhat did you order, Harvey?â Kelly asked.
âJust a cup of coffee.â Harvey swirled his coffee in front of Kelly.
In response, Kelly nodded and asked, âAre you waiting for Miss Riddle?â
Harvey coughed as Kelly had exposed his true intentions, but that did not stop him from offering her a serious response. âNo, Iâm just used to drinking coffee before ordering a meal.â
Harvey then placed his cup down and started browsing through the menu. Meanwhile, Kelly was staring at him with a hint of disappointment in her eyes, before calling a waitress over.
After she was done, Nicole appeared and made a beeline for their table.
Seeing this, Harvey fixed his eyes on her and said, âMorning.â
âMorning, why are you up so early?â Nicole sat down and looked at him before ranging her eyes over the items in the menu.
