Chapter 1709
My Wife is a Hacker
Soon, Jared and Nicole left the hospital, got into the car, and went back home.
Jared looked at Nicole and playfully, he said, âI donât feel well. I think youâll need to accompany me to my place.â
As Jared spoke, he held his forehead as if he was suffering from a headache.
Nicole sighed upon seeing that. âIâve seen the report. Itâs just a minor concussion. Youâll be fine after you get some sleep. If I accompany you, I think you wonât be sleeping at all.â
For his own sake, Nicole could not go to his place.
Otherwise, this manâs mind will be filled with all the different ways on how he could mess with her.
Realizing how serious Nicole was, Jared sighed. âOkay, fine. In that case, Iâll send you back first.â
âNo, Iâll send you back tonight.â Nicole asserted.
Hearing that, Jared could only agree. âOkay then.â
Facing Nicoleâs insistence, Jared leaned back on his seat and closed his eyes to get some shuteye.
Nicole could tell that he was not feeling well. When they arrived at the destination, Nicole accompanied Jared upstairs, not leaving until he had lied down on his bed.
Jared felt warm as he experienced the gentle care of Nicole.
âThatâs enough. Donât look at me with those eyes. Iâll be fine tomorrow.â
âYeah, I know. Get some rest.â Nicole poured a glass of water for him and placed it on his bedside table.
Jared smiled and watched her as she left.
After walking out of the room, Nicoleâs gaze darkened.
The last time Jared had gotten hurt, he was helping her in dealing with Fiorella. This time, Jared suffered from a concussion because he was trying to protect her. With these thoughts in mind, Nicole would never let go of the perpetrator that easily.
âTonight, I must find out who is toying with me!â
Nicole walked out, entered the car and said, âMax, send me back to the racing circuit.â
âHuh?â Max was stunned. But itâs already this late in the nightâ¦â
It was almost nine oâclock, and usually, Nicole would be home already at this time.
âI want to personally get to the bottom of everything, and I want to know who the person behind the accident is,â Nicole asserted, as she would never allow the perpetrator who had injured Jared to get away with what they had done.
âAlright, I got it.â Max nodded.
On the way back, Max sent the racing driverâs purchase records to Nicole. âThe buyer is an anonymous buyer.
Because of this, we canât check his personal informationâ¦â
Nicole then turned to Max, and said, âLend me your laptop.â
Max nodded and while the traffic light was still red, he passed the laptop to Nicole.
Nicole quickly plugged her flash drive in and began tapping away on the keyboard.
Max looked at Nicoleâs cold gaze and asked, âMiss Riddle, will you be able to extract any information about that person?â
Nicole snorted. âAll I have to do is enter the e-commerce platform and check the customer information.â
Max was stunned, âEnter the e-commerce platformâ¦you mean, hacking the server?â
Although he had heard Jared mentioning that Nicoleâs hacking skills were superb, that huge e-
commerce platform was created by San Jotoâs best internet server provider. As such, it would make sense that they had an anti-hacking software installed.
âArent you worried about being exposed?â Max wiped the cold sweat off his forehead.
He would never do such a thing himself.
Nicole laughed. âAs long as you are good enough to evade notice, there wonât be an issue.â
Max immediately broke into cold sweat again. âHow good would that be?â
Soon, they arrived at the racing circuit. However, after the incident, everyone had already left the place by this hour.
At that moment, Nicole immediately closed the laptop and passed it back to Max. Then, Max received an email on his smart watch at once.
âIâve found the personâs information. Iâll leave the rest to you. Iâm heading off now,â she said.
âHuh? Ohâ¦â
That was really fast. Nicole had managed to acquire information which he would take him more than three daysâ worth of investigation.
