Chapter 2171
My Wife is a Hacker
Nicole was speechless. âMom, werenât we talking about Spencer and Samuel? Why are we suddenly talking about me now?â
âYour wedding shouldâve taken place five years ago. Is it still too early now?â Gloria answered her with another question.
The edge of Nicoleâs mouth twitched. âIs timing the problem here? The main issue is that Iâve lost my memories. Thatâs why Iâm not prepared yet.â
âI actually think Mom has a point.â Stanley nodded.
Nicole glared at him in frustration. She suspected that he was seeking revenge because she doubted him earlier outside. âHow could a brother do this?â
Stanley shook his head as he was amused by Nicoleâs frustrated expression. He had admitted defeat and remained silent.
Nicole was satisfied and turned her gaze to Gloria. âMom, letâs eat. Iâm hungry.â
At this moment, there was no other choice but to change the subject, which was the most appropriate decision.
Understanding Nicoleâs intention, Gloria resigned. She still wanted to say something but was interrupted by her husband. âAlright, letâs eat.â
Gloria turned her gaze to Daniel, slightly frowning in pleasure.
âThe kids will handle their own matters,â Daniel reassured Gloria.
âHow long do I have to wait until they handle it?â Gloria sighed.
âGrandma, Mommy still has her own thoughts. You should give her more time,â Nolan tactfully advised.
Gloria looked at Nolan, who appeared mature beyond his years. âAlright, weâll all listen to Nolan and give your Mommy more time.â Gloria smiled lovingly.
âThank you, Grandma! Grandma is the best!â Nolan hugged Gloriaâs arm and exclaimed, making Gloria burst into laughter.
Lana scrunched her nose secretly and went over to hug Jaredâs neck, comforting him. âDaddy, even though Grandma agreed with Nolan, donât feel down. Mommy will definitely marry you.â
Jared smiled. He obviously would not allow Nicole to marry someone else, but his daughterâs words melted his heart.
Daniel also found Lana adorable and teased her. âWhy do you say that, Lana?â
âBecause I only want my real daddy to be my Daddy. No one else is allowed,â Lana stated matter-of-
factly.
âMommyâs marrying someone, not finding you a father. Itâs Mommyâs decision to make,â Nolan retorted, dissatisfied.
Lana confidently replied, âHow is it different? If Mommy wanted to marry someone, she wouldâve. Itâs just because she hasnât found the person she wants to marry.â
âDaddy is definitely the person Mommy wants to marry.
Otherwise, Nolan and I wouldnât exist, right?â
Hearing such profound words from the kids, Daniel and Gloria were somewhat astonished and speechless for a moment. But they ultimately agreed with Lana, saying,â Lanaâs right.â
Nicole and Jared seemed accustomed to Lanaâs surprising remarks and remained calm.
âMom, letâs eat.â Nicole decided to eat dinner once again. It was awkward to be forced into marriage like this.
âOkay, letâs.â Gloria seemed much more accepting now. Her daughter was unwilling, so she had no choice but to go along with their wishes.
The family sat down in the dining room and began to eat.
Nolan and Lana had eaten their fill at preschool and were watching TV in the living room.
They waited for Nicole and Jared to finish dinner before following Nicole upstairs to their rooms.
âMommy, Godpa invited us to his house to play this weekend,â Nolan whispered after hesitating for a while.
