Chapter 2410
My Wife is a Hacker
MY WIFE IS A HACKER CHAPTER 2410-After having breakfast, the pair left the Riddle residence.
Jared took Nicole to her office. He watched her go in before instructing Max to drive away.
âAny updates on Preston?â Jared asked in a serious tone, reclining in his seat.
âNot yet. He just sent a message saying heâs already contacted Ryder and Gary. Both of the brothers agreed to help,â Max replied.
âOkay.â Jared was satisfied. After a brief thought, he added,â The Finleyâs are working on a network intelligence company. Arrange for someone to negotiate investment.â
Max paused for a moment before nodding in agreement.â Sure.â
In actuality, the Finley familyâs project did not quite fit with the investment criteria of the Johnston Group.
Jaredâs decision was made more for the sake of his wife. He did not want to owe people too many favors.
This way, it was a mutual exchange of help.
With the arrangements settled, Jared picked up the documents next to him and began reading them with a solemn expression.
Meanwhile in the Finley family.
âPreston, this task you got yourself into is quite challenging.
Where did you find this masochistic job?â Gary furrowed his eyebrows with a sour expression. He regretted agreeing so easily when Preston had approached him.
Even the former Lucifer would find it difficult to complete this task, let alone now when Nicole had lost her memory. They could not even seek her help even if they wanted to.
Preston glanced at Gary indifferently and said, âDonât even think about it. The truth is, this involves Nicole.â
He could not reveal the specifics to them. After all, he did not know much himself.
âEven Nicole canât handle it?â Ryderâs expression turned serious. âIf Nicole could not do it, could we?â
âOh come on, pull yourselves together. Iâm not asking you to compete with Nicole in hacking skills. What we need now is to search for clues about the Five Crests, especially the Fire Crest. I trust you both, thatâs why I came to you,â Preston encouraged them.
Gary gave Preston a disdainful look and asked, âYouâre saying this because you canât do it yourself, isnât it?â
âI might be able to. Itâs just that time is running short, and besides, three heads are better than one,â
Preston replied with a hint of pride.
âAre you even here to ask for our help? Whatâs with your attitude?â Gary protested irritably. âDidnât asking for help require a certain attitude?*
âWell, someone requested my help too, so why donât you go tell Nicole that you wonât help her?â Preston shrugged with a look of amusement on his face. He knew Gary would not actually do that.
Gary glared at Preston indignantly. âYouâre ruthless.â
âStop quarreling, you two. Every time you meet, you argue. Letâs think about how weâre going to handle this instead,â Ryder intervened, maintaining a much calmer demeanor.
âDo you have any ideas?â Preston and Gary both looked at Ryder with anticipation.
âWell, I was thinking-â Ryderâs words were cut off by a knock on the door.
Annoyed, Gary furrowed his eyebrows and said, âCome in.â
âDidnât we say that this is an urgent matter? Why are we being disturbed?â
The assistant walked in, visibly excited. âMr. Ryder and Mr. Gary, the Johnston Group â the Johnston Group wants to invest in us!â
âLook at you, barging in like this. I told you I have an urgent matterâ¦â Gary was about to get angry, but he stopped abruptly when he processed what he just heard. âWhat did you just say?â
âThe Johnston Group contacted us. They want to invest in our artificial intelligence company,â the assistant repeated.
âWhatâs going on?â Gary looked at Ryder with disbelief in his eyes.
